Happiness as a state of mind 12

In wikipedia it says:

“Happiness is an emotion in which one experiences feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense joy. This definition is, however, a synonymous one rather than one based on analytic evaluation, because of the varied and elusive nature of happiness”

Clearing Out All the Clutter with The American Monk 7

People produce energy waves; in fact, these brain waves are actually measurable. That means that to some extent, every single person on Earth is in the room with you right now. Or at least, their energy waves are. That’s billions of energy patterns. Billions of people in the palm of your hand as we speak.

Now, say that you wanted to “read” one of them. Someone random—just one out of the 6 plus billion waves floating around you at this very moment. How on Earth could you single out just one person?

This is the problem with obtaining information psychically. It’s not with the material itself—the psychic material always comes through, no matter what. The problem is that often too much material comes through, including information about people and events other than the specific one we are seeking.

This can make the psychic process very confusing because your reading may not always apply to the person who’s being read. The result is that we think we’re wrong—obviously, we don’t have psychic abilities after all because nothing that we “saw” was right. But that’s not the case at all.

What you saw was in fact, psychic material. It just didn’t apply to the person you were reading.

There are some psychics of course, who have an impressive accuracy rate. Uri Geller is one, the only psychic I personally know that is right most of the time. But for most of us, our psychic ability is still fairly immature. We haven’t used it enough to understand it and interpret it. We still feel “silly” and self-conscious when we sit down and try to “conjure up some unexplainable knowledge”.

Add this to the multitude of information we might be receiving at any given time and its easy to see why we’re a little shy when it comes to exploring our psychic ability. But by clearing out the clutter (and using a trick I’m going to show you in just a bit), you can improve your ability to zero in on the right information and make an accurate reading.

No, it’s not foolproof—you still may get mixed messages some of the time—but it will definitely help you fine-tune your skills and learn to interpret the array of psychic images that might come your way.
So what happens when you clear the clutter and confidently rely on your psychic senses?

Here’s how your life can change…

  • Your business and career will soar. Professor John Milasky of the Newark College of Engineering did a study and found that CEOs who had stronger intuition also performed better at guiding their companies. Company revenue growth was directly linked to a CEOs sense of intuition!
  • Parents with strong intuition have a better rapport with their kids and can sense moods better.
  • Patients with strong intuition can better maintain their health and find themselves being guided to the right doctors and therapies.
  • Writers, inventors, musicians with strong intuition are able to produce better works of art. Paul McCartney of the Beatles said that the song “Yesterday” came to him in a dream. Best Selling author Richard Bach, said he was able to complete his book Jonathan Livingston Seagull through intution.
  • A group of computer techies I know invented a new website that made them $200,000 through intuition that came while meditating.

These things are possible when you reach a higher consciousness. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do in the Lessons From the American Monk.

The American Monk and the Wave of Goodness 9

Monks sometimes wave their hands over you, don’t they!?

Well, The American Monk does it, too.

I call it the Wave of Goodness — and the results can be remarkable.

In the demo below people saw me performing in Los Angeles. I asked members of the audience, who were experiencing any kind of pain, bad backs, arthritis, stomach ailments, to stand up.

Then I waved my hand over the entire audience and said “as your pain leaves, please sit”.

Slowly, one-by-one, members of the audience started to take the seats. It was quite amazing. Watch the video to see what happened.

The American Monk healing in front of live audience 12

Using Your Mind to Accelerate Healing in Your Body

My friend Jose Silva, who founded the Silva Method, used to demonstrate in his classes how he could put someone into a hypnotic state of mind and then suggest to them that the pencil he was holding was red hot and that if the pencil touched their skin they would feel no pain but their skin would produce a blister. One in five people would actually develop the blister from the touch of the pencil. The blister could then be made to disappear automatically, again with mere suggestion.

But it gets weirder… recent studies show that…

  • People under hypnotism can be made to tan on command by being made to believe they are under a hot sun.
  • Cancer patients can cause their cancer to go into spontaneous remission (which means “disappear”)… through the practice of creative visualization.
  • Doctors like J. Bruce Moseley have shown that serious ailments like arthritis of the knee can be cured by changing a patient’s belief system… by “ricking” the patient into thinking a surgery has been performed. They emerged out of the hospital reporting that their pain was gone. But in fact, no surgery was actually performed. The patient had been put under anesthesia and simply made to believe they underwent surgery.
  • Children with warts can cause those warts to disappear when a doctor applies ordinary paint to the warts and tells the children that this placebo is a powerful wart remover.
  • Bald people can grow hair when given a placebo and made to believe that it’s a miraculous cure for baldness.

This leads to an interesting question…

Just how much of your physical body is influenced by your belief system?

The gap between mind and body seems almost non-existent. Jose Silva believed that as much as 90% of all physical ailments are induced and curable by the mind.

So we know, through modern science, that the mind controls the body.

Is it really that easy to heal?

Truth be told, I can’t tell you exactly what happens when you draw upon ki. I’m not sure what portals open or which mountains are moved to make the connection but I can tell you that it works. During energy healing sessions, I’ve visualized my ki spreading out into the heavens and was rewarded with such vivid imagery that I know I must have been immersed in spiritual energy itself.

My body may have still been standing in the auditorium or sitting in the front seat of a tired van, but my energy—my force—was definitely somewhere else.
In the video below I demonstrate how to do Energy Healing in front of a live audience.

The technique I’m applying in the video above is called the Power Catalyst. I reveal it in the Lessons From The American Monk. Anyone can learn to do this.

Can you imagine what the world would be like with no illness and no disease?

In truth, we are meant to be in wonderful health – not one hundred years and a day but a full one hundred plus years!

Why Burt Goldman is in the Oklahama Photography Hall of Fame? 6

Once I claimed that nobody is born with a creative spark. Instead, I said that creativity comes from being able to tap into universal consciousness for ideas and inspiration.

With the right technique, music composers can dream up beautiful tunes; artist can create amazing works; writers can churn out words with elegant and unstoppable flow. And business people and inventors can dream up new products and solutions to better society.

Controversial? You bet. A lot of people would find my statement a little hard to believe.

So, in usual Burt Goldman style, I arranged a humble demonstration.

During a seminar I asked students to give me one week to demand a new skill that I had to learn. The students called out “PHOTOGRAPHY!”.

One week later – me…who was well into his 60s then…and had hardly used a camera…produced a work of photographic art that made it to the Oklahoma Photographic Hall of Fame!

In the video below, I tell the story and reveal how I “channelled” the inspiration to help me become an award winning photographer — literally overnight.
