A very provicative story . . . but these are attributes of each human being to which we have access by the grace of the Divine I Am Presence, also within each of us. We are given the choice to appreciate, to accept, to develop or not . . . that either/or thing again. :-)

Health and Wellness are the most important things in my life! I am recovering from a terrible accident. I had torn all my ligaments on my right knee. After two surgeries one in july and one in Dec. 2008 I am still walking with a brace. I never thought that something like this would happen to me. I was running and I fell. The paramedics had to take me to the emergency room. I have always worked out. When you cannot do what you use to do it is heartbreaking. I am slowly recovering from my injury but it is taking too long for me. All the money in the world cannot give me my health back right now! Everybody tells me you will learn a lesson from this. To be honest I do not know what I have learned yet. Maybe not to take everything for granted. I already knew that. To slow down? I do not know. Do you?

Burt- Health and Wellness have been my number one for more years than yours! At 91+ it is paying off, bigtime!
If you have these, you can still do anything. The first rule for me was "I do not have time to be sick", therefore illnesses passed me by. I forgot to say "I do not have time to get hurt", and did! Also, pharmaceuticals and shots in the arm are verboten by choice, and my body keeps on doing what it is supposed to do! Never tell your body anything bad!!! Whatever you do tell it is what it will become.

Thank you for sharing so much lifechanging information.

Even though I am in bad health, haven't money, and do not have a good sex life, I am very happy because of what my savior Jesus Christ has done for me.

Hi Burt,

It is possible to have little or no money, marginal or bad health and no consistent one-on-one relationship, or one-on-one sex, and still be content with being. It is possible to contribute great good with your life for others and for yourself. A significant ingredient of a meaningful existence is one where we are encouraged to view all circumstances and elements of life as beneficial for our growth and development. Sex can be a great addition to life however relationships that include it aren’t always ones that have great joy. People who have great sickness provide others the opportunity to learn how to be their own personal best selves – empathetic, gracious, thankful, caring, understand, generous, intentional and the like. For some, no matter which one of these elements is missing, and for most of us, all of these things are not always present at the same time, peaceful and joyful survival is still achieved.

The great essence from each of these can help to elevate our human condition and allow us to choose to give great gifts to the world. These are inoculations per se. The essence of these, help us to ward off the great disease of indifference to humanity. We need continuous injections because the opportunity for relapse is constantly present. Your teachings stimulate and guide us to the wellspring from which our syringes may be replenished – the infinite reservoir within. Perhaps hope, should be factored into this list as well.

It is possible to be happy without any of these things and also it is possible to not be happy when all of these elements are present. Thank you for provoking the thoughts and conversation.
