Hello how truly your positive message came at a very great time- to-day I am in the Now- I really needed that. Oh Burt I wanted to tell you my birthday was Sunday February 7th- I turned 84. We have something in common. Friends & my precious daughter took me to a very cool place to meditate. Then to a wonderful lunch- invited a dear friend I did not know would be with us- then they told me to pick out 2 books I really want- Eckart Tolle has an new book out so that was one of them. Continue being You. Lily

I like use an afformation instead like:

How can I get smarter & smarter every day in every way?

This gets the nonconscious mind to find the answer to this question; and you can cusotmize it to any other affirmations...like the ones above.

Dear Burt,
Thank you, for who you are and what you do for us. The affirmations are great. One seems troublesome: "I am God". That affirmation has caused quite a bit of trouble through history. If ever there was a self-evident truth in life, it is that we are very much the created, not God. We all come into the world, and we all die. In-between, we skin our knees, cut our fingers, and attempt to heal that broken part of us. Creating is immanent in God, an aspect of His very being, whereas it is a quality (or power, if you prefer) in us. Likewise for every other virtue, including goodness, kindness, generosity, ... all of which in us take a lifetime to grow. I submit to you that Maria's affirmation is an excellent replacement: "I am a perfect child of GOD in this and every moment”. Blessings and peace to all. D.
