Hello Friends,

Well, here we are with the 20th edition of “Dear Burt”. Hard to believe it already second Friday of the year. I hope 2010 has found you well and that you have all started your New Year’s resolutions.

First of all, thank you dearly for all the nice comments your left regarding my “Good Bye April Moon” excerpt. I’m so happy to know that most of you read it and loved it! A few of you asked where you could buy the entire book. Well, as I explain in my video below, that site of mine is not commercial (it’s purely a place where I can share my work with you) so there’s no possibility for you to order the physical book. But, today... I have a surprise for you. Watch my video below to find out what it is!

Today, I will be discussing the subject of sleep learning and energizing water for healing. That seems to be a really popular topic these days.

Before going any further, I wanted to share something with you. One of the most common problems I hear from people who have recently started meditating is the tendency to fall asleep during a meditation. Well, fortunately, this is hardly a problem. In fact, when you fall asleep, you spend about 10 minutes at the Alpha level. When listening to a meditation at the Alpha level, you are actually get 10x more out of the meditation than someone who is listening to it wide awake. So, the next time you start to drift off during a meditation, don’t worry. You might be benefiting more from it than you think.

Now, here are the questions I will answer this week:

Dear Burt,

Loved the excerpt of "Good-Bye April Moon." Would you do better by telling us how to order a copy from you? I read the excerpt, but didn't see a way to put a copy in a shopping cart. XXX's & Many Blessings!
Cindy

Dear Burt,

Thanks for the New Year's gift. I immediately read the Good-Bye April Moon excerpt. Now, please, where can we get the book?
I have been a fan since Supermind in New Orleans. I appreciate the classes I took and all the recent products I have bought--incredibly helpful and the weekly videos are such a treat. A most Happy New Year!
Kerry

Dear Burt,

Okay Burt, I give up... I went to your book site. I loved what I read but where do I place my order to buy your books? What are the prices? You are a fabulous piece of work yourself! Hugs to you
Janice

Dear Burt,

I have just accessed your book "Good-Bye April Moon." Much of what you say would be very useful if I could use it when I train people who care for vulnerable adults (those with mental infirmity, learning disabilities, physical disabilities etc). This would help them to see that they have power over those they care for, however, benign and to think about this and reflect on and improve their work to empower the people they work with. What are the copyright limits/rules on this work? Thank you.
Margaret

Dear Burt,

Always look forward to your Friday treat! I just purchased the Healing Triangle and I have the same "problem" with it as with some of your other talks. As I sit and listen to headphones or speakers, your soothing voice relaxes me and actually puts me to sleep. I wake at the end of the tape, somewhat frustrated that I missed 10 or so minutes. Did my subconscious mind still hear the complete lecture? Your thoughts please. Best wishes for 2010 and it will be better than before! Thanks.
Jean V.

Dear Burt,

Could you possible share with us your technique for clearing acne? My son suffers terribly from it and I am quire sure the causes are not just physical as I also used to have the same problem (although his is much more severe). I would very much like to help him.
Milena

Dear Burt,

I do like your question you gave us to use. How about a suggestion for rephrasing it for better results by saying: "how much better can you do?" Happy new year to YOU Burt ... and friends! CAN YOU DO ANY BETTER?

Dear Burt,

Thanks for the thoughts. I will read the chapter to see how it pertains to me. My question is sort of weird. I don't have much luck "visualizing" things. Is there a "work around" for this while I learn, somehow, to visualize? Is visualization possible?
Tom

I hope you enjoyed this week's "Dear Burt." I look forward to hearing your comments and questions for next week!

Hello Friends,

Thanks for all the support and encouragement that you have been showering on me. The least that I can offer, is my heart felt gratitude.

Seeing your active participation and all those constant feedback's, means a lot to me. This gives me an opportunity of continues learning. The more I get, the more I learn.... and as I remember it, some wise person once said - The wisest is he, who knows learning never stops...

I won't hold you any further. So go ahead and enjoy this week's "Dear Burt". I have answered questions in two separate videos due to the increasing number of questions each week. ( but hey, am not complaining...for that matter am looking forward to the day when I post three videos!! )

Here are the questions for video -1:

Dear Burt, In the Mindbox series, while meditating to your “Journey to the Spiritual Plane” to heal self-guilt and grief, I was wondering what kind of mind meditation I would have to use for it to be possible for the receiving person to actually hear and receive said explanation and apology, given that the person and myself no longer talk anymore? Perhaps in a dream or something? Or would this technique follow a much more enduring path into the mind than just a meditation? I do not speak with this person anymore but am wondering with the proper techniques, how that would work. Thank you.
-- Elizabeth

Hi Burt, Thank you for all your guidance and knowledge. I’m at the stage of giving up on the law of attraction, cosmic ordering, feng shui, meditation, affirmations, God and angels etc, I’ve made so many changes in the past few years since learning about this whole area but I seem to be in a worse off place, continually disapointed at myself for not being able to manifest. At first it was fun and exciting but now it’s turning me into a negative person-not towards others but towards myself. Is there any piece of advice that you can give before I completely give up on it?! Thank you.
-- Lor

What can I do to improve my attitude in preparation for a Quantum Jump? What can I do to improve my attitude overall? Best regards.

Here are the questions for video -2:

Hey Burt! Your “Dear Burt” is Very Insightful! You answered some questions that I have always wanted to know in the past. You however still didn’t answer my question a while back, but I guess I understand since you have way too many questions to answer. I’ll try my luck again and ask a question: I have a problem where I seem to UNCONTROLLABLY channel too much Qi energy. But the main problem is that I am unable to heal myself anymore as a result. I think it started when I used your technique of Visualizing the bright sun and then drawing “infinite” amounts of energy from the sun and into my body in order to heal myself. I repeatedly did this many times that now even if I “Very Slightly” visualize A body part or an organ, I feel strong surge of energy onto that body part, And now I can’t heal myself anymore like in the past.
So would you be able to provide me with some Insight or a technique of getting myself back to normal again? Thank you Very Kindly Burt for any Insights you provide, YOU’RE THE BEST! Best Wishes,
-- Charles

Dear Burt, I sure enjoy listening and trying to get the info from you, when I can. I suffer from real anxiety and migrains weekly, from mony and family stress. I tried to find ways to cope and feel some control. Can you help me with your advise. Many thanks to you and your ideas, I want to Thank you most for free advice and will to look for your wisdom. Sincerely.
-- Sherrie

Dear Burt, Thank you for your blogs. Your answers do give me lots of advice. I have especially focused on your various healing techniques. They have offered some relief. My question: Are there any deeper healing techniques which I could use to heal chronic pain? I have had chronic back pain for over 25 years. Could you suggest a technique that programs healing over a period of time say, a week, at regular intervals? With gratitude.
-- Julie

Hi Burt, I like what you said about all topic and just bought Quantum Jump. Every time when I meditation I feel relaxed but feel really hard to visualize and never feel interactive with the double ganger, does this mean I am not in alpha level? Another question, during this kind of meditation, should we carry emotion with or should stay neutral? Should use mind more or less? Thanks for wonderful program.

I am happy to share that I'm almost finished with my next montage. I would reveal it on my blog early next week. Don't forget to check it out! In the mean time, enjoy this weeks edition of "Dear Burt".

Here are the questions:

Dear Burt, could you answer this question for me: which of your methods would you recommend to increase confidence – especially in social situations. Thanks.

-- Leila

Dear Burt, I was having success solving little problems using the Q-Jumping technique. Things like locating lost items etc. It Really Works! For the past several weeks I have not been able to get anywhere with it as I fall asleep every time just before the Jump. I have tried different times of day, same result. I just can’t stay awake long enough. Is this because I am getting better at total relaxation? Perhaps I should stop counting backwards…Any Suggestions? Thank You.

-- Trevor

Dear Burt, You are awesome! I cannot wait until I can purchase your Quantum Jumping program. I have a question for you-that I hope you will help me with. My mother hung herself 34 years ago when I was 19, and I was the one to find her, and even to this day, after all the self-help books, cds, etc. I still have the image of her hanging there pop into my head quite unexpectedly, and it’s like living it all over again. What can I do to resolve this? I really need to be free of this. Thank you so much for all you do for us.

--Amy

Burt, I’ve been to a few of your seminars over the years and there were two demonstrations that really caught my attention. One was when you had some attendees bring in their broken watches and you piled them up on a table and yelled “work” and more than half of them started working. The second was a demonstration where you called a volunteer to the front of the room. You stood behind her and reached into the air as if you were grabbing her but you never touched her and pulled her back. Though you never made physical contact with her she started to fall backward. As an E-NLP student of yours, can you describe a model that you used to do this. Internal thought, body posture, etc. These are the demonstrations that really fascinate me because there is an actual objective effect to be observed. Thanks.

-- Saul

Hi Burt, my question is — Do you believe in a Supreme Being, i.e. God? If so, what is your definition of what It is like? From where does your belief originate? I am currently writing a theory to scientifically prove “God” exists and am gathering as many viewpoints as possible. Thank you.

Dear Friends,
I am humbled by the enormous response that "Dear Burt" has generated and I was so happy to read your questions.

In this very first edition of "Dear Burt", I have tried answering the questions which I thought many people would be able to relate to. If I didn't answer your question, then look forward to it in the coming weeks.

Here are the questions I had the privilege of answering this week:

I seem to have a challenge in asking the right questions. Can you give more details on asking questions?

-- Janice

How to identify who is the authentic Guru among the large and growing number of professionals posing on the internet as specialists in Life Enlightenment?

-- Vishal

I’m wondering if you could comment on the Silva three scenes technique in light of NLP. In NLP, and certainly in my case, the future is to the right and the past is to the left. In the three scenes technique, it is taught the the future is to the left and that is why we program it towards the left. This is confusing to me and I’m wondering if you could clear this up since you are experienced with both NLP and Silva.

-- Mark

I am a new student and working hard to hardwire MindBox. It is conceptually delicious and no doubt if I could apply it efficiently I would really feel reborn as a god in that my every desire could finally come manifest? I feel that I have already had some success due to these techniques. Building one success upon another would generate enormous confidence and excitement. My wife and I have spent a number of years studying astrology and Feng Shui, i.e the energetics of the local universe as they may apply and impact each of our personal lives. In other words, these magnanimous magnetic forces are pushing us around? Are you saying that the nature of our relationship with these forces will be somehow transformed? Are you saying that we can transcend them? For example: become wealthy when our karmic map indicates poverty, find true love when we have Pluto in the 7th house, or even through will transform our body chemistry so that the pancreas doesn’t produce excess insulin?

-- Zhee

Hi Burt! I would like you to put your hand on your site so I can touch it to help heal myself with your help. You did that once but when I had the time to do it, it was gone. Thank you.

-- Josephine

Why, then, do authorities seem determined to stop my new friend Max Simon and his friends from doing their thing?

You may have heard of Max. He's the 26 year old founder of the selfcentered Tour (getselfcentered.com), a new school meditation movement that's on a mission to inspire a million people to learn meditation by 2010.

The meditation session you can see in the video is called a Public Display of Meditation (PDM). Max has been holding them across the country in all sorts of unbelievable venues, from Hollywood Boulevard to shopping malls, and the buzz has caught on like wildfire.

I recently met Max at my 81st birthday party, and I think he's an astounding young man.

This is exactly what we need to get the younger generation interested in meditation. Max is successfully branding his form of meditation into a refreshing, modern package that is fast catching on among young people throughout the world.

The son of best selling author David Simon M.D., he's been meditating since the age of 4. And by the time he was 22, he was the youngest meditation and yoga teacher at the Chopra Center.

After barely a year of operations, he's already gained the praises of Mr. Deepak Chopra himself, Apl of the Black Eyed Peas and Ms. Debbie Ford.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he reaches his one million mark!

You can visit his website here: www.getselfcentered.com

So, if you had the chance to meditate anywhere in the world, where would it be? Please leave your comments in the box below.
