Overcoming Depression and Negativeness: “Dear Burt – Volume 101 28

Dear Friends,

There are so many different techniques that can be learned through self-improvement teachings but when it come to manifesting and the Law of Attraction the one thing most books and teachers agree on is the importance of a positive attitude.

Manifestation is just a by-product of our thoughts, whether they are negative or positive.

In this world of dualities everything has a positive and a negative side but we can choose which side we focus on. So next time you are a bit depressed and need a "pick-me-up" try applying the Majestic Sight Technique which I explain in more details on the video below.

Do You Ever Feel Like a Victim? – “Dear Burt” Volume 99 29

Dear Friends,

Is there such a thing as a victim personality? And if so, is there a way to step out of it?

In the video below I tell you how to change your mindset from victim to warrior whenever you're finding yourself being victimized.

I also share with you the lessons I learned from an overweight martial arts teacher and a "little old lady" I once met.

Their stories will show you that as soon as you change your thoughts and start taking action to "unvictimize" yourself, everything around you changes, especially the way people treat you.

So next time you are feeling like a victim, pay attention to your thoughts and feelings and remember that you can always change them, you just have to choose so.

Lateral Thinking and Problem Solving “Dear Burt” Volume 89 18

Hi friends,

Today I am addressing a particular question "What is lateral thinking?" "Is it good or bad?"

The term lateral thinking was coined by Edward de Bono in the book New Think: The Use of Lateral Thinking published in 1967

Lateral thinking is often also associated with positive thinking.

An interesting story comes to mind and you'll hear all about it in my video this week.

Attitude and Being Happy “Dear Burt” Volume 87 36

Hi friends,

Today is a very special day for me.

My grandson Shaun is 29 today. And I just got of the phone with him.

As most of you already know by now, he is a composer and he plays the piano and guitar. So today I want to share with you a song that he composed quite a while back when we were both working together on a program for teenager. Kind of like a MindBox for teenagers.

This one I particularly thought would be a useful to you too, it's called The Worry Song.

So this week, the big lesson I want you to take from week's video is how to go back to the past memories and regrets and learn to let go and get over them. It's a memory, and you have control over what you want to remember and not! :-)

Positive Affirmations To Live By 5

Hi friends,

People often ask me "Burt, how can you be so pumped-up at 83 years old?" and my answer is always the same : It’s all about positive thinking!

Every day, I fill myself with positive affirmations and it helps me maintain a happy and a positive attitude.

You've probably heard me say this over and over, "attitude is everything." All my life, I have created my own positive affirmations to help me attract success and good health into my life.

So, I came up with an idea of sharing my positive affirmations with the rest of my community on Facebook and got them to share some of theirs in return.

The results were so overwhelming as hundreds of people on my community shared their affirmations and I was thrilled to see the enthusiasm and the quality of the positive affirmations that were popping up.

In just 5 days, my team and I had over 600 affirmations and boy, it was so powerful.

Now, here's the best part though, after we announced our Top 3 winners on Facebook and shared their affirmations with everyone, I  wanted to give all those who participated including each and everyone in my community the chance to be inspired by the positively that was flooding us. :-)

So my team and I have prepared something really special for you. It's a small gesture to show you how much we appreciate each and every one of you for sharing all those amazing positive affirmations and always being a part of my growing community. Healing, Meditation and Angels “Dear Burt” Volume 72 39
