Gayle DeGraff, who above says she helps troubled teens, ran a boot camp that was responsible for the death of <a>Michelle Sutton.</a> Researching this, I found that Ms. DeGraff tried to perpetuate a lie that Michelle had taken cocaine which caused her death. The death was caused by dehydration in a forced march up a mountain. Counselors ignored the girl's agony as she was dying, and accused her of faking it.

Everyone should be aware that there are wolves in the midst of those who would take charge of your kids and have complete and total power over them for the duration of their stay in a camp. Please thoroughly research those to whom you grant this authority so that this kind of tragedy does not happen to your child.

Hello Burt:
I would prefer your teachings for the children in video and books, if you can do something as VIDEOGAMES to teach the kids would be fabulous. That is the actual world of this new generation, and I thing a great way to touch their interest.
(I think for parents teaching is better audio to listening in the car while driving to work)

Thanks Burt for being part our life, and thanks for sharing with us and the world your inspiration, your creativity, your dreams about changing the social conscious. I eared time ago a person telling if you transform the conscious of 2 generations, you change the world.

That is way I would love to work in such transformation starting in my home with my kids, giving them a legacy of prosperity and love for the humanity and life.

Best regards

I have 3 children - 12, 9 & 7. The two oldest are boys. The competition between them was big, and with the help of your CD's, about self competition, they are now getting along better. With a busy life, it is difficult to get everyone together to listen to the CD's. We take about 30 min. a day to listen and learn a new technique. DVD's may be more attractive to children and make it easier to get parents to get their children to listen and learn. However, it is also easier to have CD's available so you can turn them on in the car - the kids have to sit still and listen - there is no other choice. And when school starts up again, listening in the car might be our only chance. Furthermore, I play the Daisy Pond at night when my children go to bed. I would recommend having both DVD's and CD's. Thank you for your inspiration and intelligence to increase the beauty of life.
P.S. Beautiful scenic videos with brilliant colors would be a nice compliment to some of the meditations. However, we want the children to come up with their own visualization, so it's a hard decision.

Hi Burt,
I am a Kiwi from New Zealand and have 5 children and 15 Grandchildren and one due in June, 2008. Now that my children have children of their own they prefer to work with the system the Government has provided for them and some of these provisions are quite good, especially in the Play Centres and Kindergartens. I have been meditating, visulizing and reading a lot of spiritual books and found that what you have to say about the Genius Dip blew me away as it is true that our children need to be creative and be allowed to use their imagination freely. As an adult I found it very hard to put this into play in my life, right now, but I am finding myself and what I really want in life which I have never been able to before. I would love to have your teachings so that I am able to download them from your site perhaps e-book, dvd or video. I would really love to give them to my children as a gift. I am sure that it would change their thinking. I really enjoy your website and your free lessons.
I send Divine-Love and Light from my heart.
Thankyou.

Hi Burt,

I really enjoy everything you do. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to others with what you have learned. My little son loves books, so I'd be very interested in a kids book or workbook that he can use (preferably with lots of animals and trucks:)! ). As far as for us adults, I always like downloads.

Thanks!

Burt,
The Genius Dip series was very inspiring and resonated with what we believe and teach our daughter. This is something i would like to have been aware of many years ago with my older children as i am sure it would have made a huge difference in our family life and in their growing up.
Thank you presenting this information as it is never too late.

For the past 28 years of my life, I have been employed with the Head Start Project, first in Dane County, WI, now in Oklahoman and Canadian Counties, OK.
The program serves low-inocome children and their families and started in the sixties after President Johnson's "War on Povery Act" (http://www.rfkineky.org/
project/poverty-war.htm).
One of the greatest features of this program, new for the those days, was its unique approach to education. First of all, the child was conceived as a part of her family, ethnic group, and social environment. All of her needs were considered equally important as determinants of her inellectual characteristics and academic achievements.
Therefore, a typical Head Start classroom provided (and still does) nutrition services, health screenings, mental health observations, social services, education screenings with follow-up individualized lesson plans, and parent involvement in all areas of the program.
The child is viewed as a unique individual with a particular set of abilities and needs, a learning style addressed on daily basis in the careful setting of an environment (both physical, emotional and intellectual) conducive to the development of self-confidence and worth, and self-initiated exploration.
She learns by making choices and mistakes, facilitated by the guidance of motivated, educated/trained, and loving individuals. A quality control system is implemented on ongoing basis to assure that each individual is provided with the opportunities to develop her inner abilities and progress into a self-motivated, lifelong learner, and active member of the society she is part of.
For these reasons, amomg others, I am still working and advocating for the Head Start Project, to assure that the value of its social function retain public recognition and support.
If this approach were maintaned beyond the preschool level, we would not be speaking of the Genius Dip, would we?

     Sincerely,
     Saleema Ra
