Hi Friends,

Those of you who have gone every week to my two blogs, blog.theamericanmonk.com and quantumjumping.com/blog will no doubt be disappointed in what I am about to tell you.

After creating 282 videos with hundreds of techniques and helpful suggestions; and after 182 consecutive weeks, I am closing shop.

This coming weekend’s two video’s for the blogs will be the final video's for the blogs.

Of course you can always view the past three years of video from me on youtube by searching my name.

So this weekend we bid a fond farewell to the blogs.

It will not however be the last you hear from me.

I realize that not many people in their mid 80s keep up with the technological and social media aspects of our current society, but obviously I do.

And so I will be directing all my efforts to communicate with you here on facebook.

There will still be video’s with helpful hints and techniques and with facebook I will be able to answer your questions in many instances the day they are asked, also as facebook allows virtually unlimited content I can follow up with explanatory text.

If you would like to reach me for any reason, for the next few days I will be monitoring an email site set up just for that purpose; it is goldmanmethod@aol.com.

As I’ve said, this is not really a good-bye but rather a transfer. I will be checking my facebook page daily.

Thanks for the comments and support, it is appreciated,

Burt

Dear Friends,

Achieving the Alpha state of mind is a great feat. It is a wonderful feeling. This is why we all want to be able to constantly in that state of mind. We function better; we think better; we are in a much better state.

But many people concern themselves too hard on trying to achieve this state and stay on it. That is counter-productive. Being in Alpha is being in a relaxed state of mind – deep in concentration. How can you reach it if you’re too eager.

I explain on this video how we can stay in Alpha by changing one simple thing.

The question about love is probably the simplest yet hardest question ever asked. What is it? Where does it come from? How can we find it? How do we keep it?

There are so many kinds of love out there. We have tried to explain what love is, but we cannot come up with something that defines all kinds of love. The problem with that is, if we cannot define love, how can we truly appreciate it?

Watch the video as I explain what love is for me. And do leave a comment and tell me what love is for you.

Dear friends,

Hope you all have had a splendid start to your February. I want to pose a question to you (reply by commenting below), how many of you meditate daily?

I know it can be hard to find the time in the hustle of our everyday lives, but a good goal for a beginner is to meditate for five minutes at the very beginning and end of each day. It's a great way to set tone and proper intention.

I've heard from quite a few of you that you've enjoyed my guided meditations in the past, so I thought it was worth making a slight change today and doing a meditation.

Let me know what you think.

Then I'll go into the wave of goodness technique. For those of you who don't know what the technique is all about no need to worry, it's all included in the video below.

Dear friends,

Happy Saturday everyone and sorry for the late blog post this week. No need to worry though - they will go on as usual debuting every Friday.

I've been really happy to see more comments below these videos so I thought today to do another sort of question and answer session. If you want your question answered in one of the videos coming up just leave a comment below and I'll get around to the ones I feel haven't been addressed much before.

So today it's tapping, rhythm, and healing.

As I've said before everything in life has its own sort of rhythm. You can find out more about the idea of rhythm by using the EFT tapping technique I talk about in my Mindbox program and on many of these video blogs (here and here, to name a few).

But before clicking the link learn some more and watch the video below.

Dear friends,

Around the internet and in academia I've seen a lot of discussion about the role of the human subconscious in dreaming.

After all, dreaming is a peculiar thing. Scientists say that we dream every night whether we remember it or not, but as to why we must dream the jury is still out.

Some say that dreaming is a mechanism of sorting through and linking conscious and subconscious experiences. Just like lucid dreaming can be used to play a semi-conscious role in your dream state, you can accomplish the same thing by taking control of your daydreams.

Suddenly your daydreaming goes from recreational to creational.
