I understand happiness to be a choice. And it's a choice I find myself choosing over and over each and everyday as I am confronted with the slips and slides that life often brings!

Happiness.... If I can be myself, whole & complete.
May the higher Power in the Universe find me and disable the device in my head (since june 1994)gift from my bio-mom&dad, & the doctor that went along this silly game.

"I initially met Burt Goldman through his class of "Hypnovision"(conducted for the National Guild of Hypnotists) 3/12/93 and have used his methods for numerous clients and myself since then with great success.

Your Seven Free "online" Lessons have been worked like magic in my life.

I loved and laughed through your "Sam and his auntie with the dentures analogy" as the "Secret to Happpiness."

"Attitude is everything" is the main mantra of my life.

Thank you, Burt for enriching my life.

Ever since i discovered your web=site I feel like a new person. Every topic is so interesting and insightful! You are so right on about attitude. I needed to hear this message today because my Dear Mom is getting very forgetful and she repeats herself over and over. Today as I was watering the lawn I asked myself, what If my Mom were not here I would miss her terribly! Thank-you Mr. Goldman for not only changing my attitude but also I got a lesson in appreciation.

Again you are right on the spot - it's so true, isn't it.
For many, including myself, the difficult part is the changing of attitude. It especially gets difficult when we let ourselves caught off guard and lose control. I think high level of Self-awareness at all times plays a big part in helping us to change our attitude. Want to know more about self-awareness see Oprah.com on "The New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle.

I love your video, watched it a couple of times, and also watched your other videos on You Tube. Really great and helpful... Although the concept of attitude being important for happiness is not new to me, it was good to hear it from you explained in such a pleasant and clear way.
Thank you very much.

I came to the conclusion that accepting certain circumstances that is out of my control is the best way to live life. This was reconfirmed after reading "The Art of Happiness" 5 years ago. It is a translation of a series of conversations with the Dalai Lama who is an authority on happiness. I really recommend it to everyone! I am more aware of myself now and is overall content with absolutely everything in my life. I also really recommend "the Dalai Lama at MIT" too. It helps you understand the mechanisms of our psyche using both western and Buddhist view on the human mind which is useful in scientific research.
