Well, it's finally here! 2010 has arrived.
I just can't believe how fast this past year has gone. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for staying with me on my journey. You have all been such loyal friends and I appreciate all the feedback and encouragement I have received from you over the past 12 months. I look forward to many more great things to come in the next year!
This week's "Dear Burt" is a bit different. Since there were no questions last week, I decided to share with you some words of advice and offer a couple of little gifts as my way of saying thanks for being my most loyal followers.

I've just run across your material - arrived at it quite by accident - one of the ads of a page I was looking at (don't momentarily remember what it was), and I was struck by how appropriate it was to a lot of what I'm experiencing these days regarding 'opening up'. At first I regarded your site (not this one, but the pitch for the CD material) as 'just another' self-help sales pitch but I marveled at how well done and thorough it was; and then I marveled at how it went on and on and on... But I have to admit it was engaging. Enough so that I went on to find this blog site.
I am tempted to get your material, because it seems to validate some of what I am onto, myself. But that's not really why I write. I write because we are of the same vintage - if you turned 82 last September, then I am 5 months older than you. And I am rather amazed any time I find others who have broken through the veil of materialist rationalism that we grew up with. I do know a few others.
It is further amazing to me to see you pursuing it in the profit-making tradition, because to me there is a certain inherent contradiction. But to each his own; I can make allowances. I put out a monthly email newsletter for more than a hundred others, in which I try to track my own evolving insights . . . but I do it for free. I left the wage-earning world half a lifetime ago, and learned to live on much less than before, because I truly wanted to be free of commercialism.
So it's good to meet you, Burt. I will give you a decent plug in the next issue I put out. May you thrive for many more years, and have a good one for this present round.

Peace, Love and Joy to you Burt as well as to all living in the Quantum Jump Sphere. Thank you Burt for your blogs, ebooks, videos and suggestions for an enriched life. Thanks to you and others; who like you, share their life experiences and wisdom, I realised and accepted that my perspective and perception created my sufferings or my joys. Attachment to: people, their opinions and desire for fruitive results kept me tangled in relationships and situations that caused turmoil.Bit by bit things were taken from me...professionally and personally. I felt fear, shame and pain. I questioned everything and relentlessly chastised myself,even for things over which I had no control.
Finally, when all the superfluous and superficial things were taken away, I discovered my authentic self the True Self.Nothing changed (materially) yet, everything changed. Thank you Burt and all of you, who touched me directly and indirectly through opening yourself by sharing your own pain, loss, puzzlement and search. You had the courage to reach out past your fear to Universal Love. I found myself by going past my own feelings of loss and feeling you through your touching and honest notes. On an almost daily basis, I listen to your teachings, from the various courses I've bought and from the wonderful weekly Dear Burt sessions.

As an example, I have discovered two years ago that, by applying your teachings and copying you, I could relief pain as easily as you do.
The result is astounding ! In these two years, I have successfully treated some 200 pain cases ... and it could have been much more if there was a sign on people's forehead indicating that the person is suffering !

I love to hear more about the higher guide. I had my share of that mystical experience when I was backpacking and experiencing carefree life.
Though my life on the whole is going well relatively speaking, I know I have lost that deepest connection I once had. Wonder whether do you know how I could get that deep connection again.
I had a spontaneous mystical connection with a higher guide. I don't know what it's call but you know it when you are there. Everything seems to flow effortlessly and having that great ease and comfort of being who you truly are.
Now to some degree I still have it but it is much less. I now have a family and are torn in many directions. My deepest desire is to be free, carefree like how I was.

Quantum Jumping - PROOF?

Like you, I've been a student of the "inner-world" for most-of my life...
Although some 20-years younger,I hadn't discovered half-of what you know on my own.
How wonderful to work with someone who's been-there, done-that so we can dispense with what DOESN'T work.
That being said, I had a bright-flash recently concerning a very peculiar, and as-of this time unsolved medical mystery....
Mental Health professionals are completely stumped and astonished by physical aberrations in patients with multiple personality disorder..
Sometimes a particular personality has a rather serious health problem that their other personalities DO NOT MANIFEST...
Doctors are totally bewildered by this apparently impossible phenomena..
A patient having diabetes, cancer, or serious heart problems "switches" personalities, and PRESTO, we have no disease, or different diseases altogether!
As you can see, this impacts mightily on the Quantum Jumping dynamic, and is the ONLY single rational answer!

Is there a "work around" for this while I learn, somehow, to visualize? And if you only think in terms of the intellect, if you will, is visualization possible? Thanks for the gifts, Burt. I feel like I'm crashing and burning this week. Here's why: I was doing the Golden Image exercise. My positive image was getting some of my books published and making some money. The negative image was the stacks of query letters, the rejection slips, the organization of correspondence, and the rewriting. Anyway, once I switched the images and brought the positive into sharp focus, I nearly broke into tears. I never cry. But I almost did. Problem is I just didn't care about the positive image. I just don't care about making the money. It left me feeling hollow. My girlfriend says, "So what? Big deal. Don't worry about it." But I still feel lost. Do you understand? I'm like a deflated balloon.

Dear Burt, could you kindly enlighten me about te following?
I've asked a very important question to one of my DoppelGangers. Even before I had the question done I heard this loud and clear voice saying "NO, NO, NO, NO!". After one day I tried again and I met this nice Doppelganger of mine saying "Keep calm, keep calm" and giving me suggestions about the next step on my problem. Even though I had to still check his sugestion (this Monday) I wonder if I can get 2 replies when I visit the other dimension. I'm aboviously prone to believe and therefore gone by the positive suggestion but still I'm a bit confused. Please, kindly elighten me. THANKS A LOT!

Do you have any tips on how to get volunters to practice healing on? If I ask people I will be too concerned about it working so it won't. If I secretly practise on people this presents an ethical dilema.
I practised on animals on small children but I don't have too many of those.
When I practised on my dog's mouth growth I visualised the cells as bubble wrap I was popping. The growth then started to go in holes but they were decaying and eventually I had to put her to sleep. This put me off practising for a while - maybe I was using the wrong visualisation - Silva visualise shrinking. But you say that you can't do harm if your intent is good?
It always worked quite well on my granddaughters scraped knees etc but at almost 4 even her innocence seems to be disappearing. The last time she said "oh its gone, no its come back again". It seems its only sustainable for as long as the person believes it. As soon as they become amazed that its gone, it comes back again. No doubt because they are thinking about the pain. How do you get people to sustain it?

Much of what you say would be very useful if I could use it when I train people who care for vulnerable aults ( those with mental infirmity, learning disabilities, physical disabilities etc). This would help them to see that they have power over those they care for however benign and to think about this and reflect on and improve their work to empower the people they work with. What are the copyright limits/ rules on this work

I just purchased the Healing Triangle and I have the same "problem" with it as with some of your other talks.
As I sit and listen to headphones or speakers, your soothing voice relaxes me and actually puts me to sleep.
I wake at the end of the tape, somewhat frustrated that I missed 10 or so minutes. Did my subconscious mind still hear the complete lecture?? Your thoughts please.

How we can help them when they got sick. I have a dog and I would like to help her to become healthy. She is sick for a while, but we hope there is some cure that can give her some energy to hold on.

I know everyone has to feed themselves and that it takes tremendous resources and time to create your courses, but shouldn't you (and the others) be giving it away as well???. Isn't it Everyone's responsibility to offer this information to All people???. Why should only the well to do and middle class who can afford the price tag be the ones to benifit from the knowledge......it's Just a Thought from a greatful, hopeful and hopefully enlightend soul fragment. Hi Burt, First of all thank you so much for the gifts you handed out, I greatly appericate it. Now for the question, when i meditate or try to see into the future i dont see anything but black, am i trying to hard to see? Am I suppose to talk to an auctually person? and why can people travel to see or read other people and i'm to dumb to understand how to do it. For example, I have a friend her cat was hurt and i asked is it the front right paw, she said yes, i said is the cat black and white she said yes, but i didnt actually see the cat, i just knew it to be true. Is this what you mean by seeing? I hope you can help me, and sorry for being so dumb...Thank You

my name is MAXI, rufus horne is my buddy americano i live together with. we sailed around the world for 12 years. i don't have a credit card, that's why his name appeared. i am sorry, i couldn't dive down into the healing triangle yet. times are too busy, but i hope to find the time soon. i am 70 & rufus is 80 years old.
we just settled in grants pass oregon, bought an old farm house with more than 1/2 an acre of garden & now have plenty to do as you can imagine. i also started piano lessons in october.
but i love to take part in your teachings, as the subject fascinates me for ages already.
i am german, by the way. i have a big problem: i received a 10 years visa. besides this fact immigration makes me leave your country every 6 month.
