I like the Woman with Spine. I like the colour and way they are mixed with each other to form a flowing movement. I garden to relax. It soothes my soul and takes my mind to a completely different place. It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I can pick my own veges for my dinner table.

My favourite picture is SOJOURN AT THE SEA - although I would have chosen different (warmer) colours. If it wasn't so chilling, I would also like the winter scene. Thank you for sharing your expressional paintings.

I use to relax by a combination of sport (e.g. yoga), art and music and nature walks.

Dear Burt,
I like all of the paintings and Sojourn At The Sea is my favorite. Reminds of all the beatiful experiences I had living in San Diego. I used to spend lots of time down in the harbor area. This was very relaxing for me. Love the ocean.

Very cool! I like how the other painting are all in the museum painting - that took some talent. My favorite in the museum would be the flower picture.

Hi, Burt: All your paintings are wonderfully unique; however I especially like "Sojourn at the Sea."...It is simple but impressive, somewhat like your approach to teaching. In contrast to the other colorful pictures, I at first thought of it as black and white, but it is washed in a beautiful sea green with yellow lamp lights. Thank you for sharing what challenges you can accomplish at any age if there's a desire!!!

Burt, I really love your harbor scene, I love energy of water, ocean, which I miss so much when I am in central Europe now. I also paint, though in the last 3 years I haven´t dome any and I miss it.
Keep going, as long as you like doing what you love, it will always turn out great.

Dear Burt, your whole life story facinates me, you have certainly done a lot. I enjoyed looking at your paintings and the two I like the best are the Sojourn and the Woman with Spine. The Sojourn I like because I always feel better anywhere close to the water. The Woman with Spine because it has an appeal of being in the moment without being "way out". It feels right. I have done a little painting in the past, not for a long time now, but it relaxed me. I have also sone soapstone carvings which I really enjoy too. I think it is time to get back to my creative side again as this is one of my favourite ways to relax as well as being close to a body of water, my favourite is tidal. I feel as if I am most conmfortable being by water.

My fave is "woman with spine" very nice I like to practise learning Chinese brush painting. It's challenging but fun gives me much relaxation. I almost go into meditation, when concentrating on my art work. I receive a lot of pleasure from my Art. Love and Light. Sandra
