You aren't painting. But you are creating an image that is very similar to the picture that the Hubble Telescope sent us on Christmas Day of the star of Bethlehem. It is fascinatingly similar. The formation of the star is approximately 2000 light years away from the Hubble Telescope right now. We are seeing the new star in the night sky again. Congress wanted the space program to find God himself. Well they got it!

After evaluating your paintings and then comparing my thoughts to one or two others who saw all positive things I must really need the Mind Box!
I know art is subjective so therefore there is no wrong answer….And I should not be comparing my answers to anyone else’s anyway!
I too took up oil painting late in life after losing my job. At first I was devastated but then I used my time off (while collecting unemployment) to take better care of my health and to start painting. I would not change that situation for anything! I love my creative gift to paint the things that matter most to me, animals!
Thanks Burt for being here now in this new uncertain chapter of my life, you are a gift from the GODS!
OK....on to the paintings:
1/10. cosmic puppy
2. cosmic grasshopper
3. jetson-scoot
4. languish
5. quick escape
6.earth
7. mythical creature
8. unsurmountable
9. windy day clothes line

Burt to each his own also. Choice of colors is very good and the presentation of style is great also--looking into each you can loose those troubles. Did you and your twin come up with those from a QJ? Or was is just some time spent doing which would include thinking, creating and then doing. Liked them all and naming them would only be trying to classify them.

First paintig is intermingling dimensions with the face of All That Is in it.
The second one reminds me of our planet in the universe reaching to the outside for help.
It is almost 3 am here in Europe so I will continue tomorow.
Great paintings!!!
