Hello friends,
Since so many of you seemed to enjoy my Howth Harbor post last week where I revealed my secret technique to creating my one-of-a-kind montages, I thought you might also enjoy seeing my newest creation.
Last Saturday I went to San Diego for the day and spent some time strolling around the harbor looking for an eye-catching subject to photograph. That’s when I spotted this old shack of a building jutting out from the rocky shore. I knew immediately it would make a great montage so I started snapping and took a total of 140 pictures of the shack and surrounding ocean and rocks.
When I got home on Sunday I developed the photos and put the montage together. It took quite some time to do but once I started I just couldn’t stop!
Here is what the photo montage looked like before I began painting:

I spent the entire day painting to finish it up. This is the first photo montage I have done in ages. Recently, I have been painting over old ones that I put together years ago (as was the case with Howth Harbor) but this one I started and finished all within the same weekend!
I call this masterpiece “Sailor’s Rest” and I have to admit… I am quite fond of it
What do you think?

I hope you enjoy it! I would love to hear your thoughts.
Sincerely,
Burt
My name is Burt Goldman. I’m one of those “lucky people” who discovered a secret early in life. For the last 50 years, I have been traveling the world and meeting and studying spiritual masters from every inch of our planet. Now, at the age of 82, I’m ready to share with the world what I have learned. I started this blog to be able to share with you my most valuable teachings and insights I have gained over the past few decades. Here, you’ll find plenty of valuable information on meditation, energy healing, spirituality, and my latest revelation, Quantum Jumping. I look forward to connecting with you and I sincerely hope you enjoy being a part of this blog.

I love the light in it!
?I do some painting myself and I’m pretty sure you have the answer to that question. So if it’s possible, please let me know!
I’m very curious why did you invert the sky with the water
thank you
I imediately captured the harmony you expressed in your painting. It is the place of my dreams where I want to be in my old age. I pray I will have the same tranquillity then, as the one you painted here.
Dear Burt,
As soon as i saw this painting the first thing that really struck me was the sun. It has such a healing effect. I would love to see my life in such a glow. It
is also a reflective piece with the water all around it. This is great to see an inspiration come along for someone, and see the effect of this transpire. I have personally only stumbled on you, and your work as a monk. I need all of the help i can get right now with
my path in life. And hope to here more from you.
Joan Bryant

beatiful painting after giving it new life looking very calm . I love it .
Gosh Burt,

If I were to buy it, I would buy BOTH!
Love, Lila
Oh Burt, your painting is even more alive than the montage. Incredible work!!
an abode of love , peace , nd, bliss.
It’s great! The sunlight bathing the building is beautiful. I can feel the ebbing of the tide at the ride; it seems to be influencing the building, persuading it to respond in kind. It’s wonderful to witness you sharing your progressive, personal journey into creative and artistic expression.
your painting is wonderful it has alot to say about your life experiences and mistery
It is beutiful. And tranquile. Calm
love it!
Hi Burt
It is beautiful and so full of peace. Greatings from Ireland. Kay
Lots of fresh sea air surrounding that building — one would surely need to feel confident as a swimmer to approach it with enthusiasm..
The painting is amazing how you do that? I just stare at the before and the after painting. That is a great piece of art.
The picture looks great, very colourful, you are gifted, shirl
me gusta tu pintura pero no tanto creo que le hizo falta tu presencia solitaria en la playa.
Oh!! What a lovely picture to just surprise the soul. I just went Ohhhhhhhhhhh!!!! It is purely a work of art and love of your fellowman. Thanks Burt I just adore it. Lorraine in N.Z.
burt,
… for my part … “modeling” your creative process
as you have done with this newest “creation” is
the best “testimony” to your intentions in doing
your “work”/play in the kindergarten of the
universe.
How beautiful and peaceful looking.
DEAREST MR.BURT YOUR HAND SPOKE FOR YOUR HEART AND MIND,
ITS HEART BOGGLING,THE PICTURE IS REALLY LIVE,AND MAKES THEIR MIND AND HEART LIVELY THOSE WHO SEE.

Truly inspirational!! You are an awesome being! God Bless!
I’ll bet this would be a great place to relax. I love the sound of waves crashing and all the sense relaxers that go with it. Brilliant !
You truly have found your gift, its beautiful.

Its fantabulous-fantastic& fabulous. Great work!
it is great…:))
WOW very beautiful.! I found it to be peaceful.
Finer minds always produces finer things!!
As a fellow artist … I think I will try doing a painting this way. LOVE IT FROM TEXAS
Burt, that is so beautiful. You are so complete!
That is fantastic, you should be very proud. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Excellent painting — while I noted the “art critic’s” comments on perspective, etc. identifying “issues” with the painting, I happen to be one of those “I either like it or I don’t”, and I like it. The sunshine captures the feeling of a rest after a long — perhaps fruitless — morning, and a well-earned respite.
Magnificent piece of work. I can feel the movement of the see. I love what you did with the sun and sky.
BURT THIS ONE I LOVE. GREAT JOB
Burt, very good,no fish break its surface, no birds or any other kind of flying creatures dip down looking for food. The purple color comes from vast concentrations of floating bacteria, for the oceans of Earth have all become covered with a hundred-foot thick veneer of purple and green bacterial soup. …There is one final surprise. We look upward, to the sky. … We are under a pale green sky, and it has the smell of death and poison.
Burt, put enough carbon in the atmosphere and all manner of dark weirdness erupts. The sea a vast, flat, oily color. No fish break its surface, no birds or any other kind of flying creatures dip down looking for food. The oily color comes from vast concentrations of floating bacteria, for the oceans of Earth have all become covered with a hundred-foot thick veneer of purple and green bacterial soup. …There is one final surprise. We look upward, to the sky. … We are under a pale green sky, and it has the smell of death and poison.
Dear Burt,
Fantastic job! It is beautiful.
Nancy
The light in you shines through your work.
The shack is standing on unstable ground.
I hope no one lives in it.
With blessings
Dear Burt, Amazing how you have taken the original image and turned it into a vision of beauty you are supremely talented. A. Sharif
you are amazing! It is a great work of art , soul and imagination. Simply gorgeous. You will never cease to amaze us, you know. best wishes and thanx for sharing, rose.
Awesome…You have turned old shack into something worthwhile…just like how you do to our personalities..
Dear BURT,
Good job!
Also I painted in color crayons . Once exibited some of mine in local gallery .
Ilove yours . I maybe will reproduce it in pastel when inspiration coming .
Enjoy .
Beautiful Burt.….It’s even better than the photo montage.…..
Very cool Burt. I like it.
This is very beautiful at what you have done with an old photo. I admire your talent.
I love what you have done with it, and would very much like to learn how. I have thought of this before, my Grandmother used to use oil paints (I think with her finger)to colour parts of a matte finished photo eg the red roses in a bridal bouquet, flesh colour faces, green tones for the trees, etc. What type of medium do you use? I am starting with acrylics and watercolours — a few lessons on each. By the way, I would love to have you as a Grandfather, but I am too old, you are to young, maybe a Dad, as for me you are so fatherly. Love you, Judy
Dear Burt,
Your work is amazing, beautiful and well just amazing!!
Isn’t it amazing what the mind can do?
Since starting your meditations, I too have found that I can draw!! It is the most puzzling thing to me.…I am doing mostly chalk and some oil pastels…in fact just the other day someone asked if I do this for money.…I didn’t think I was that good — but someone sure does — now I have three done and one of them is hanging in a friends home now!!
Well — thank you for sharing your masterpieces with the rest of us and helping get us started on the path to ‘better and better.’
All my best,
Beautiful! you are really a genius in painty at your advance age,u are great.keep-fit.
Thanks for the paintings and may God bless your and enlarge your territory always.

Dear Burt,
Your Painting is Excellent
David Hockney eat your heart out.
WONDERFUL!!!
Dear sir,
i have no comment for ur art, because i’m still in the stage of student, i have not reached the stage to take decisions..but i apreciate your way of thinking…you make the painting very calm in ur way as i see, previous it was in the stage of unbalanced or even say disturb in its way..thank you for making it peacful. as our mind or thoughts,.
Its very inspiring.I am at a loss to express the right sentiment for appreciation of the talent, your visualisation, concept and above all the ultimate manifestation of the final work.
Its serene, peaceful and truely I feel envy of the remarkable potential which you possess. Its anybody’s ultimate dream.
You are an ultimate role model for me.
Best wishes and keep inspiring us like this to strengthen our faith in your approach towards life and your blessings.

Wow This is simply one of a kind find!!! You have out done yourself ! You must be very proud I know i am
Thanks for sharing ,
irene
I love the adventure that you explore and express. I FEEL the abandonment and the way you seen to be willing to jump right into it and make it your own. I envy your graciousness, and the freedom. I am a strugglng artist and am so willing to loosen up to allow my feelings to dance and show the excitment, and of course the confidence that I see in the pleasure you express in your Art. Bravo!!!!! I’ve been told, that I am too shy and uptight. Well all in good time, and maybe soon I will encouter my supporting twin»»?
eanwhile I do love the doing. Thank you so much for all of your sharing, to say the least it is encouraging, I no longer get so frustrated with my struggles…to’ve taught me to simply enjoy to dabbling
Thank you for introducing the possibilities..Amen.… to reach my doppergabber(it I think he might teasing me abit„„lol. luv Ya, Kath
That’s for sure: an artist formation could make some remarks (the posting in page is not right as it should be, you can work upon the proportion of the house, the relation between earth-see-sky give some strange feeling of anxiety.. and so on) but the sun make all the money!
warm regards, Oana
Splendid, it reflects wonderfully.
your idia is great. It goes with the theme.Let more people come and rest.
Hello Burt,
Your Painting is perfected reality, sailors can rest without a worry, in their warm and stable sturdy nest… YOU are really BLESSED for making life better and better for you and everyone…

Hi Burt, I think it is fantastic, I had a few lessons on oil painting and love to just mess about as I call it, I absolutely admire anyone who has the gift of putting your mind on a canvas..its not that easy keep up the good work See you on face book Bye for now and thank for the thought Lili
Looking vibrant…spreading positive energy all around..Thanks for sharing.…
Burt, I think you did a wonderful job in capturing the scene in a totally different light. I love the colors that you used and truly love the way you blended them in for a realistic touch. It is a very nice painting that one could meditate to. Calming, enlightening, peaceful, flowing, uplifting… and so much more. You are very creative and talented. What a coincidence, I used to do paint by numbers when I was young, then got into marching band and Symphonic band as I got older, always got A’s on my school projects, and always wanted to learn how to paint. I have been feeling that at 50 I have sort of gotten away from my creative edge from allowing myself to get pulled into other people’s drama, so I placed a call yesterday to a person that I met in church that is a professional painter and gives lessons. Maybe now, I can finally bring out my creative edge like you have in this wonderful painting. I said before this was a coincidence, however, nothing is a coincidence, it’s sinchronicity, a reminder to to people to seek their own creativity from within to bring out the best in themselves. Great Job!!!
Many thanks for sharing it with me.
I had ever learnt painting ten years ago just because i fall in love with a painter. Painting open a new world for me. I feel so peaceful every time when i paint.
To do what you love to do. That is amazing.
We are living in the house we expected before. That is true.

As a fellow artist…BEAUTIFUL job. Isn’t it relaxing to be able to put postive energy into creative works.
I like the photo montage even as I feel that the house is too big for the composition. Sorry. I love the painting because it Brings me back to my island life when I was six years old. The glaring sunshine, the sea urchins, the smell of the sea still lingers like when the fishermen pulled their nets from their wooden outriggers. Thanks Mr. Goldman.
outstanding much gravitus
Your painting is wonderful..amazing likeness to photo.
Burt,
As a painter myself , it is a very good painting to do just in a weekend. I spend weeks on just one.
How do you do such great work so fast. This is great!
Callie
Burt I like them both. But as I read and you said you finished it in one weekend, I thought about myself.…I’d not likely get any of my work done in one weekend. I invite you to have a look at http://www.amosart.com.…..and have some fun!

I really love it, such a peaceful impression.
Its great its a beautiful picture thnak you for sharing
Very nice! I wouldn’t mind living there. It is really inviting.
very nice work, it looks peaceful. if only i was as talented
xx
So jealous!! I need to connect with my artist doppelganger! Thanks for teaching us all so much about unlimitedness! XOXOXO
nice in a stylized way, I cannot tell if the swoop is a perspective issue or a kinetic device. Good piece non the less.
Nice work, Burt! As a long-time artist myself, I would have been very proud if I had produced this painting. I am especially impressed by the backlighting under the building, the wonderful textures in the foreground, and the successful treatment of the water, which is very difficult to paint convincingly. Don’t let that palette dry out! Stay with it, Luv.
Dear Mr. Goldman, you are like a Diamond, many facetted! Your latest Creation thrives on paradoxes: a photograph and a painters hand, are both present.Resonating with colour and movement of water over rocks.Mystical reduction of something larger, like infinity, that lies in the detail of an emotion. Thank you for sharing, s agapo, Irena.
I really like your painting, I love anything that is associated with the ocean.
Hey
I think the second picture is the best, and I agree with all the others .You can be proud of you self…:0)

To me, art that conveys an emotion of some kind grab me the most. Sometimes transendental. like silent knowlege. Nice, but i think you have much more to say. Not sure about the yellow sky, but what do i know for sure?
Very good — your previous painting on a photo montage from Howth Harbor was less good than the original montage, whereas this Sailor’s Rest conveys a quality that is superior to the original montage, good as it was. Wonderful to realize how one can continue to improve.… It would be very interesting to know what kind of paint you’re using to paint over a photo montage — would you care to share your secrets?
wow! this is amazing I love this.Nice place to go when I meditate.
I can see why you are fond of the painting, It’s very good, gives me a peaceful feeling when I look at it.
Picture is tranquil and can hear the sound of ocean with the warmth of the sun.…..thank you!!!
I too like how much softer the second one is .…feeling inspired, think I am going to have to go create something LOL .… Thanks for sharing Burt, it is delightful! Linda
It’s beautiful, very appealing to the eye!
Thanks for sharing!
Julie
I like it !
Dear Burt, Loks like a wonderful place, where one could wonder in those mystic regions, and see many things.
Yet another beautiful picture. Amazing!
Your Picture is SERENE:)
Burt,
Nostalgbia prevails from this lovely beach haven on the edge of this beautiful seashore. The stones under the home give strength to the foundation with the water washing over them bringing emotions to the surface. Then the sunny horizon adds such brightness bringing it all together for a beautiful experience. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent! Bravo! Lulu
Beautiful!!
Beautiful, Peaceful and calming.
Cheers
Deborah
Great painting! Reminds me of vacationing on Cape Cod several years ago.
Burt, YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you only knew how much you INSPIRE me and GIVE ME LOTS OF HOPE : )

I enjoyed Burt. It is a lovely peaceful spot to meditate. What a creative man.
Hi Burt! Two words come to mind first when I look at your picture.…..beauty and serenity.….I love this one too! Your gift is special and unique, and thanks for sharing this one with us as well! Looking forward for the next one!!! Peace and Love, June.
I love it…!!! Very eye appealing, creative and colorful…a most peaceful piece…kudos to you and many, many blessings and happy montaging…!
Your artistry is greatly appreciated! As for one person’s comment on using a live model, everyone forms their interpretations based upon individual preference. I think you are a wonderful artist and can see how you can motivate people to acknowledge their own intrinsic abilities.
KT
Absolutely marvelous ! Please tell us that you will make “Sailor;s Rest” available to us in a signed print ?? {I’m keeping my fingers crossed !)
Bert,
This is a nice design. Being a professional artist for many years these are a few suggestions I think might expand on what you are already creating:
Ask your self these questions when starting a painting:
What emotions am I going to convey? How can I dramatically add lighting and color to do that? For instance: orange is very dramatic next to turquoise or the blue of your water. (Your opposite colors on the color wheel do that when put next to each other
When do I use a unity color and when do I leave it out?
Paint it again a second time now and let your self go and see what happens.Intend an emotion before your start.
Ginger
I like this one. The colouring is beautiful, and the picture itself conveys the feeling of serenity and everlasting bliss. I get words “edge of the world” when I look at it. Really nice.
I like it, the fact that the water is the principal object shows a very idealistic spirit and transparency
Nice one. I look at that and feel like I’ve gone home. A most interesting feeling, since I haven’t lived on the sea. But, I feel at home looking at it. Great painting. Thanks for sharing once again.
Yes, Burt. I like it very much. I enjoy looking at your work. You are talented indeed. Much wishes for you. Love and Light to you always. Dianna Sprenkle
Hi Burt,
It’s going well, but looks as if it is a photo who’s dimensions have been stretched and curved by a camera lens, yet the photo doesn’t look that way. I suggest going out and painting from the subject instead of photos.….would give you a chance to be more creative and interpretive, more accurate with natural light and color, and you would get he perspective and forms down more clearly. Use photos as reference, not sole resource for subject matter.
I Love It! The colors bring liveliness and energy and yet it is still peaceful. Just beautiful~
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!
Mona Dee
Burt, It is beautiful and I love the title. Glad you are back to work, welcome back, stay focused on your great talent, be blessed.
It changed at all. Now it looks like suitable place for holiday.
Dear Burt,
Thanks for sending which I take it as gift from you.
I am little bit confused, is it a photograph or a
painting ? Possibly it’s a result of your invention of QUANTUM LEAP. I enjoyed. You are a great talent with precious soul by which you see our planet.
Warm regards. Better and Better.
Barkat Ullah, Bangladesh.
Very inspiring a combination of photography and paint two mediums we love and aspire to work in as well.Mixed media excellent keep at it as will we.

I am curious what kindd of paints you use on your photos.
So much more colorful and alive. Very cheerful and fresh.
Nice going, kid. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Love, B
I would like to see a time lapse video of the entire process. Then again, I would also like to have an image large enough for my desktop, but I guess only the people who see it in person enjoy the detailed splendor. Thanks anyway, Burt.
(It reminds me of an Enya Video, Carribean Blue.)
You’ll have no trouble selling your work. It’s on a
level that the great majority of people will appreciate. It’s not threatening in any way, and there are no surprises. I hope that you will find new dimensions to explore in your creative process.
Absolutely exquisite!. So soft and peaceful.
An amazing piece, well done Burt!
Dear Burt.

This is beautiful Burt! I would love to go to this place you have created and sit and listen to the water hit the rocks on the shore. This looks like the perfect, most peaceful get away. Great job! It’s breath taking. Bonnie
I love your painting. Check out my “Sleepyheads” video at http://www.youtube.com/user/brendagill905. Its my paintings and music that I wrote. Tell me what you think,
Hola Burt! I’ve just left a life in Orlando fl.,an alcoholic mate, and a beautiful german sheperd puppy Django whom I both loved very much n pursuit of a New and more abundant life in Miami, the place where I was raised in the mid 60s thru 1980…I am staying with my almost 80 year old poet father..I am a Cuban– American musician artist ‚I came in contact with an aunt whom I hadn’t seen in 40 years! She is an amazing artist also in her own right..I will be performing my music at the end of this month at a very cool Art gallery-cafe in downtown Miami…I also intend to get involved in non musical art, perhaps dividers and headwear„this is what i’ve been thinking about..she & her artist friends have been more than encouraging..I am 1 of the newly unemployed(sigh)seeking somehow to make a living using the talents The Good Creator gave me.I still can’t afford your programs..had always thought about the possibilities of positive higher different realities of myself too for yearsalso..you seem to have experienced that.Iwould love to learn how to live to the maximum in this lifefor myself, the S.beach crowd & the world..soon. Paz Y Amor , your gifted soul brother, Robert Zamora(write me personally back when you find the time?) Gracias!Agape!
I loved your painting. The water looks alive. I just started painting the ocean and am working on making the water look alive. Did you ever consider making a utube during your next painting? Personally, I would love it if you made a utube of yourself showing how to make water look alive ASAP! Please let me know if you do this or send me the utube. Thanks.
Blessings, Audrey
It is DIVINE
It is a average painting to me Burt why on earth did you felt the need to spoil it with a mass of yellow is beyond me. The blue in the right for the sea is way off. I like what you have tried to recreate and good on you for that alone I admire you.
Hi Burt
Very peaseful and relexing keep up the good work.

Cool Burt! Great job keep it up. I paint mostly oils on canvas but there’s a new style I am exploring, it is exciting and I am sure you will love it , I call it “burnt wood art”. you can see it at my website.
Very soft & peaceful.
Luv it
Hello, Mr. Goldman. I took your class 30 years ago in Oklahoma City. I was a computer programmer for American Airlines. A lot has happened since then. I work as a tech in a drug rehab clinic. I am also an alzheimer’s carrier (My grandfather had it and my father had it) I am using your 7 free lessons combined with what I am learning in Photoreading to find a new career and possibly ward off the disease (anything is possible). I am not sure which way to go now. I could get an LCDC and become a drug counselor, or I could go for a degree in library science (a librarian’s job sounds like a dream come true. I was always afraid to try for it because of all the competition) There are other possibilities. The best thing to do is to start. My funds are limited at the moment (I have a son and a husband and a mortgage payment). But things are starting to look up. Thank you for the seven lessons and the art work.
Cool! You inspired me to try the same thing. I painted a complete photograph, not a montage, but the results were very interesting. Is there any way we can post our paintings?
please keep the paintings coming !!! THANKS
Beautifully calming, with a hint of magical healing. Love the colors chosen for the sky.
burt u inspire me to start painting i have taken a art class was so digging it,thanks for inspiring me once again!!!
Burt,
MORE, MORE, MORE PLEASE!
I love it when you send me an e-mail that you have a new piece of art ready to show, your artwork really livens up the day!
So keep it coming PLEASE!
JR
I love this painting, it is beautiful.
First off, the person that built this place is saying that he does what he wants. No conformity to building, just what he wants. The reason for you choosing this building to paint could say the same thing about you.You want to live your way, not the way everyone expects you too. I wish I could be that free. The painting as well as the real building are very serene and this is relaxing t and free to me. I think the painting is good. Keep it up. Hope to see more. Love Light & Peace to you.
Like it a lot more before you flattened it out with unimaginative sky, your work is much too clever to blanch it out like that. The drama gets lost. While it is serene, you had done such a great job of the three dimensional subject, that it gets lost in the final production.
I don’t understand — - am I doing something wrong? This was the first time I’ve ever even attempted to post a comment — - as I don’t know much about the computer yet (an understatement — - HA!) — - but wanted to try as I appreciate Mr. Goldman’s e-mails and blog so much. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
yes, a nice painting. I would not put it in my home. But as long as you like it that is all that matters.
Good Job Burt! Beautiful. I found a nice place in my Living Room to put it, if you need a space.
Nice and peaceful. Great job!
the photo montage is very creative BUT the painting is truly inspired! you’ve given it light and warmth — - a midas touch — - or is it the Goldman touch — - HA! Keep up the good art, Mr. Burt — - we need all the inspiration we can get!
Love it! Really!
That is really beautiful Burt! I’m from San Diego, so I recognize that building
You should show it to them…I bet they’d buy it!
Beautiful, Bert. You must have been inspired by beauty.
It is not only well balanced, but also possesses a restful quality . I love it; you’ve outdone your self once again. Way to go Burt!!!
This is so serene and calming. I have purchased your course but sadly have not taken time to start it. My husband took his life in January so I have been dealing with a lot the last few months, but am finally finding some peace and making some decisions to make my life not so hectic. I am very hopeful that some day I will get to where you are in life. I am anxious to start your course and do other courses to balance my life.
Nice picture Burt.I was going to Quantum Jump but my monkey beat me to it so i’ll just have to wait till he get back.By the way his name is Einstein and i learn a lot from him.
Dear Mr. Goldman,
I’m not sure which is more intriguing — - your photo montage, your painting, your aged youthfulness, or your last name! What am I talking about? I have been exploring the ancient art of alchemy from a psychological perspective — - how the alchemists strove to transmute the lead of their souls into gold. I believe you are in spirit a true alchemist! A goldsmith! You are a Godsend — - especially to older people who are usually overlooked [in this modern culture of youth and beauty worship] and not appreciated for all the wisdom they have gleaned over the years. Thank you so much for inspiring this 56-year old girl to finally start opening up and blossoming! I truly like the photo montage of Sailor’s Rest — - it is so creative — - BUT your painting is Sun-lightened and warmed and DIVINE! Like you! Thank you again for being you! Leslie Higginbotham
This is beautiful! What a great thing to wake up and see!
I am trying to do learn how to do this soo this is an inspiration.
Thanks and Peace to You!
Marymac
Blessings abound Burt,
What an amazing piece. The painting is beautiful and creates the feeling of peace. =)
So glad to know that it is up to ourselves how we live our lives — and we can continue to learn and do new things and be awesome at it at any age.
Thank you Burt for sharing your talents and your knowledge.
Love,
Rev. Mary Madeline
How fascinating that you can have a montage and painting of the montage and yet both have a very specific characteristics and maintain its individuality. The fact that the painting is so very soothing to the eyes — indeed it is not just a “sailor’s rest”, it is everyone who look at it “rest”. Yes, when I look at it I felt rested and I really wanted to go inside and sit and relax.
Thank you for sharing. May you have the most glorious and magical moment that this day can bring.
Joyie
Beautiful picture Burt, I would love to vacation there.
Amazing Burt, and very inspirational. If you can do stuff like this, starting out at this point in your life, it gives me hope that I can follow my dreams and succeed too. Thank you!
I much prefer your realistic paintings, such as this excellent work, to most of your abstract works. My only critique is that by putting the painting a bit more distant than the picture, you lost some of the run-down aging of the structure.
Best Wishes,
J
the most important to me is you re having fun and
never stop living your life. So long life and god bless
you Burt.

Great job.… Burt, everyone have some great idea about. It reminds what could be done in mastermind group. Dear sirs, “no matter what is outside, but what is inside, that counts”.…

Very good and inspirational. I must say you and your paintings were one of the things that prompted me to go back to (almost forgotten)joy of making pictures. I started, again, at the end of January (dreary weather kept me indoors) and now I am pleased to compare my work to yours.
Thanks, Burt!
Burt, your artistry is remarkable. I’ve listened to your Quantum Jumping CDs a few times now and I’m so ready to find my doppelganger. It’s high time that things take a turn for me right now. You’re a great inspiration. Thank you for sharing.

Remarkable and interesting. What a great idea and hobby. I think its really great. I will have to have a go at that myself. I love art. You are talented.
Burt
This is very interesting.
The title does fit the picture.

I can see why you were drawn to it. It has this fragile appearance as though it it could fall down if the waves were to big or the wind to strong. How deceptive it’s appearance, it’s still standing and has been for a long time by the look of it. Your painting is precious, as are you.
Dear Burt,
to me it depicts your desire to be in solitude to be able to formulate your ability to create personal redings for your clients. It is only a dream because I believe, perhaps wrongly, that you your work either in the city or in the suburbs.
Dear Bert,
An excellent piece of work. Can’t believe it got done in one single day.

The picture is so reflective of your own brilliance..your positivity and joy and is a reminder too that behind the walls of doubts, negative beliefs and resistance each of us has brillance too.… So I will get our my chisel to break down the walls of doubt and my energy to recolour negative beliefs into positive ones… and with fascination see what lies within me… Truly inspirational Burt… Thanks Tracey, Suffolk, England
