Lesson 1 — Tapping Into Your Spiritual Core

At this point, you’re probably finished reading your free lesson 1 from the American Monk. We hope you enjoyed it!

In Lesson 1, Burt Goldman introduces you to the power of meditation and shows you how it can help you deal with stress and other struggles in your daily life. In this lesson, Burt also guides you through the powerful Daisy Pond Technique.

In this post, we’ll share some inspirational stories from people who have had amazing success with this lesson.

Watch Winfred Bennetti taking about what he likes about the meditations:

“Thanks to Positive Energy I build another future for myself.“

I am a survivor of Hurricane Katrina, from New Orleans, and since that life-altering event, I have been reaching out for every possible tool and benefit that I can attain, in my attempt to rebuild my life and career. I am a multi-disciplinary performance artist, and teacher of various arts education programs of my own creation, formerly in the Orleans Parish Public Schools System.

As most of my work was interrupted by the destruction and closure of the schools and many of the performance venues where I had formerly presented my creation, I had to direct my creativity towards the considerable effort of recreating my artistic life.

I am still in that process, and have used many of the visualization, meditation and emotional management techniques you have created, as a way of helping myself on the path. Along with my yoga and tai chi practice, I have managed to transform most of the rage and frustrations I had felt in the early stages into positive energy for building another future for myself.

“There is nothing from anybody anywhere that is cooler than The Daisy Pond.“

The main benefit I’ve received is the ability to gain alpha level quickly and easily and “imagine” easily. The 3–2-1 Method is as efficient as it gets! Also, just hearing Burt’s voice when I start my alpha sessions, even if it’s only in my mind, really gets me in alpha mode mood! There is nothing from anybody anywhere that is cooler than The Daisy Pond. It was a stroke of genius that will define Burt Goldman for my mother and me…The information he gives is excellent, and I’ve had many light bulb moments.

Just for the record, Burt Goldman is really great. After all I’ve said, I really believe in him. I just sense that the key is there. I’m glad I have the course. I know I have help when I need it.

“It helps me to relax when things get stressful.“

It helps me to relax when things get stressful. At work all I have to do is take a deep breath and tell myself to relax. At home I do the same thing when things get stressful with my children or I read some of the tips and follow that. I love the mind tips. They are informative and helpful and I will be applying them in getting my business going. We can never be fully stress-free but we definitely do not need to be over-stressed and with your mind tips and your free online course it helps me to over come the stress and have a more perspective on life and see that I can accomplish anything.

Hi Burt,

Thank you so much for the daisy pond meditation technique. I practice meditation regularly and today practiced the Daisy Pond meditation for the very first time. I am feeling completely relaxed.
However, I have not made the jump yet. Whenever I meditate, it becomes an intense experience and at times so intense that i go to a deep sleep state and come out of it without remembering anything that happened in between. Could you please give me some tips on how to stay aware during jumping. Your help is truly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi
Thank you so much. This is the deepest meditative state I’ve been in over a year.
Last year I had two really profound meditations while listening to a guided meditation. The first time I was yanked back quite forcefully to the present and I felt like I had been surrounded by pure evil. The second time I listened to the same tape I could feel a battle between good and evil going on around me. Since then I have not been able to relax into a meditative state at all.
So once again THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
I will continue to use The Daisy Pond meditation. I know that eventually I will over come my fear of medition.
Thank you

Where to start. I have tried all kinds of stuff to help me to find out who I am and what my purpose is life is. I tried the first lesson and it did help me somewhat. I am stuck where I am, which is doing nothing and going nowhere because I lack the ambition. I have depression, maybe because I do not know who I am. I cannot wait for the next lesson..thank you so much

Tramp says

Hi
First let me say I’m 57 and have been in prison 3 times for selling drugs.
While being locked up I learned back in 1974 how to meditate. That was my first
time in prison and I plan to write a book some day about it. I was born without
a femur bone. If you don;t know what that is, it is the bone between the hip and
knee. I was about 13 when I had surgery and as GOD planned for my life they
removed my foot so they could fit me with a artificial leg. At the time I got
the best feeling I ever had it was called morphine. So here I am a drug addict
and to make this a little shorter I wen3 times the 1st for sales of marijuana,
the next for sales of PCP & LSD.(Believe me or not I was (innocent on that 2nd
time) Any way it doesn’t matter I did two 4yr sentences. The last was for
conspiracy to sell diazepam. They gave me 3/25yr sentences for that one. Which
was a blessing. So GOD walked me out of there before my time. You see I was
suppose to do at least 8 & a half years, but GOD told me while in the county I
would only do 3 and a half. There is much more to the story but I walked out
exactly the time GOD said. Now to the messed up part. I did the rest of the time
on the streets which is a wild story. Anyway I finished my time and went back to
drinking. The biggest mistake I ever made. You see the whole time I was locked
up this last time until I started drinking I was higher than on meth or
morphine. It was a clean high. Now to my present day. From 1995 to DEC of 2008 I
worked myself to terrible health. I started drinking and doing lortab just to be
able to work. then last Dec.2008 the day before and on the day and after the day
I was in the hospital christmas day. Then I found out I had rheumatoid
arthritis. As of now I am taking naproxin, 2 different blood pressure meds,
xanax, predisone, 90 a month30mgoxycodone, 60 a month 100mg morphine. Kinda
funny back where they started me on. I am on disability and can barly feed my
family. 3 of us. My son is fixing to become a marine in march and go to basic in
Oct. Our house payment went up a $150.00 a month and I’m trusting GOD will take
care of us as HE always has. If I can write the book like it should be I think
it would be one wild story, but I’m afraid they could come back on me for some
crimes. Not murder Any way I enjoyed your cd and hope to read the rest. I’m at
the point of trying to get back where I was when I was in touch with GOD!!! GOD
bless and take care I hope this didn’t get to boring for you. I bought a hundred
dollar guitar and amp and that was all it was worth but one day I will have a
good guitar and amp/ That is the least of my problems but I do enjoy playing
guitar even if it sounds cheap lol

I was led to believe there are 7 free lessons. I could only access lesson one. I don’t understand the Karma points. Do you require these to access the other lessons, if this is so then you are falsely advertising 7 free . I am not prepared to introduce your lessons to friends until i have seen them first hand myself. If this is a genuine offer please let me know how to access the following six lessons. The Daisy Pond was lovely thank you.

I am completely floored by the 1st lesson. it was extremely informative andlucidly explained. i loved the techniques too. i was unable to hear the valentine video due to some technical problems. do make it available again for me if possible.
also the meditation downloads are not audible when i save it to computer however live on site they are amazing.
i am visiting other portion of ur blog to enhance my knowledge on spiritual development. thanks …gr8 gift on valentines day to bump into your site…tks again

For a decade I’ve always been spiritual, for a long time I’ve found who I am but lately I have been really stressed out and this works. I’m gonna try this once a day like it says, I feel my energy coming back to me again after from all that stress. A little help always works.

Ralph says

The Daisy Pond experience stroked my brow and left me feeling strong and secure.

Faye says

I have gone through the first lesson. I have found it a bit hard to picture the daisy pond. I have tryed to picture the stairs and the doors leading out to the pond. But it has been a bit hard to concentrate. I am having a major problem with my husband. We are seperated and he has moved out and now has a girlfriend. All this after we have been married for 32 years. It is so hard to concentrate on anything. That is why I really need your help.
I was a bit disappointed to find out that I had to email my friends to get karma points. I emailed all of my friends, all 32 of them. I now find out that I will not be able to get to all of the lessons from reading all of these postings. Abit dissaponting.

When I was practicing the “Daisy Meditation” for the first time, it was absolutely awesome…honestly, I didn’t expect anything like that…I was able to completely relax, stop partially my thinking process and enjoy the present moment being in the beautiful place as “Daisy Pond”. Surprisingly, I was so relaxed that I was able to imagine clearly and even feel whatever Burt described and as if I was in fact there so I had a feeling as if I was not in my place any more but somewhere else…It was a wonderful experience! Thank you, Burt. Love, Julia

Denise says

Burt,
Thank you very much, I really enjoyed the Daisy Pond meditation. I have been very stressed lately and after listening to this meditation I felt like a new woman. I was able to feel and see so much more than I have in the past. I enjoyed pretending and being child like in my visualization. At first I couldn’t remember what a daisy looked like, but I was pretending so it didn’t matter. I created a giant sunflower and painted it white. When I opened my eyes I was refreshed and ready for the rest of the day. I am awaiting lesson 2.

Johnny says

Thank you for being a wonderful human being!! and the lessons are great and I’m starting to find meaning for a lot of things since my childhood and I’m excited about these new techniques and new way to untap all the potential that lies within us.
God Bless you!!

Eugenia says

Dear Burt.

I have had beautiful meditation for half slip lest night. I almost came out of my body and was flying in multidimensional world.
It was indescribable experience. Better than orgasm.
Do you call my experience as jump to the next level, if so I was in new world.

Eugenia.

Raymond Smith, LMT says

I have practiced many forms of meditation, but I seem to have a problem with imagination/visualization. I have tried many times to imagine my hand being stuck, but, other than wanting it to happen, I get no results. It would seem to be a form of self hypnosis. That is something I have had little to no success with either. I am wondering if the fault lies with my thinking processes.… Can you give me any suggestions as to how I can get past this block.
Meanwhile I agree with many people’s comments here about sending friend’s emails even before knowing if your methods are effective. It does seem a bit commericial…and not very spiritual. Enlightenment can not be for sale.
Still, I appreciate the need to help raise our common consciousness. Previously I had thought that I needed to do something specific…to teach…but I am coming to realize that, since our consciouness is shared, all I really have to do is perfect my self and it will be automatically shared. Still it would be nice to do something specific with the skill, understandings, and knowledge God has granted to me.

alexandra says

Hi Cindy,

All together you need 100 email address (to unlock the last mediation in lesson 7). I know that seems like a lot
but the content is extremely valuable. It comes from Burt’s MindBox. Of course, if you already own the MindBox
you will have all the material in the lessons. If you don’t have the MindBox but are interested in looking at it, you

I really enjoyed the first lesson — the daisy pond concept. I’m kind of disappointed in the Karma points concept. I was hoping to complete the seven lessons to see if the Mindbox was what I needed in my life. I would be happy to tell my friends about a product I’ve used and enjoyed, but I will not give away my friends addresses as they are sacred to me and I’d expect the same of them. If a product is good it will get referred.

Thank you Burt for sharing you life with us all.

Hi Burt!! I feel glad and grateful of sharing this experience with all these people. Forgive my poor English, as being Spanish I’m studying your language while doing my best with your lessons about meditation, relaxation and so on. It is a very good idea to open this space to leave others’ opinions, so congratulations for it. As all my mates here, I like to learn how to take things ease, to get calmness and relax inside, and more specifically, how to take “material things” as nothing but just a game in which sometimes I win and others I lose, but I am always able to enjoy the process of playing.

Thanks for your voice, words and music, cannot wait for the 2nd lesson

Thank you so much Mr. Goldman for lesson #1.
I really feel great after the daisy pond meditation and i would recommend it to everybody.
The only problem that i have when i’m meditating are the 10 thousand thoughts running through my head and sometimes it gets a little frustrating. I guess it’s just a matter of practice and patience,my body gets totally relaxed, but my mind?,geesh.
I now use the technique you give as a bonus with the first lesson and it really helps, it’s kind of what i used to do before, whenever i would find myself overwhelmed by thoughts i would mentally say to myself: SHHHHHHHH!
Thanks so much again, i’m looking forward to lesson #2!

Are you changing matter, manifesting stuff, doing spiritual stuff or moving through time using quantum physics with your mind? The closest thing to quantum would be to just use it as a metaphor or comparison.

Hi everyone, could someone help me please? I have been trying the Daisy Pond meditation but am wondering if I am doing it properly. When I imagine the Daisy Pond, should I look at it from “inside” my body, or can I look at a version of myself going to the Daisy Pond as if I was watching a movie with me as the main actress? I have no problems with the second option, it’s the first one that I find very difficult. Thank you :)

I never heard anything about the Daisy Pond in the video to which I listened; next I saw an announcement that said for any other lesson I had to have points by enlisting my friends. I don’t consider lessons for which I have to pay either points or money “free.”

Celia says

I have been stressed out over different spiritual techniques for the last few years. I did more damage to myself in attempting to get somewhere (yeah, I know my motivation was wrong, but I like most westerners rooted in achievement, I approached spiritual practice the same way). The result for me was increased and almost debilitating depression. I came across this site and though ‘oh, another one’. It seemed like it was a little simplistic, and basic. But I felt promted to try the lessons anyway.

I tried the daisy pond, and did it again this morning before work (an extremely stressful and competative place lately), I noticed that I was happy, light and loving and stress free for most of the day. I haven’t felt that naturally happy ‘for no reason’ for years. I even tried the bagha duo on the drive through a snow storm to work, and the car didn’t slide even once. Good practice one noticing your thoughts dealing with them under intense conditions. I still arrived at work, light, happy, and without any grumbling at the conditions. Interesting! Simplistic (simple) comes the rescue again.

I recently had a bad panic attack where instead of expressing the fear, I internalized it. This was four months ago and since then, I feel this nasty, weird sense of energy inside me, and I get a little sad when I think of people I care about. Without medication I still have panic attacks and I can’t sleep at night. I was hoping this could provide me some support or technique to unlock my frozen mind. Does anyone have any suggestions or pointers using meditation, etc? I hate drugs and want off them.

I was trained in Transcendental Meditation in the 70s and meditated for thirty years. It got me through long hours at work and a pregnancy at 37. After my husband died I kind of got out of the habit (what was I thinking?) and I really enjoyed the Daisy Pond meditation. Thank you for what you are doing. The world needs this kind of guidance in addition to any religious training. Lots of Christians think meditation is too weird for them, but I have found it to be very beneficial with no harmful side effects.

Burt I hate to be the one to break the news to ya, but the requirement at the end of lesson 1 which was to pass this info on to 5 people before you can move to lesson 2 does not work on this planet in this level of consciousness, people must come to us we can not shove this down their throat.…raising the level is all about happening when people are ready for it to happen, it is something they seek not an idea we wish to require on others. If it is ok for us to be enlightened then as always it is ok for others not to be. It is the mentality of the white man to use force instead of positive power. I appreciate your willingness to participate in making a difference, yet those of us living and working out here in the trenches must teach by example and nothing more as we will lose our audience if we are not careful and fully aware of how we go about this great task. I project no requirements or expectations to the people around me therefore creating an atmosphere for souls to investigate without obligation. It works very well.
It’s called Peace.…Thank you Di

Once upon a time when was I with the Indian Army and was posted near a river Chennab. It actually happened the same. We were few people in a motor boat in the mid stream of 8 knots of current and suddenly the engine stopped, boat over turned. In the centre of the river I looked towards the sun and prayed for a moment and then could save all people out of danger. The greenary, flowers, animals, clouds and man around were giving strenght to save them. That opened my mind and today after doing this meditation of daisy pond i feel the same and I have thought to do this daily in life to have peace, courage, bearing, dependibility, self justice and knowledge. Lots of thanks to remind me, where do I stand and how to over come these problems which were acting as tension in the form of white ants. Your Daisy pond is fantastic!!! The only problem is that it is hard to imagine a daisy growing in a water pond. Somehow, the Daisy becomes a water LILY. Hi Burt,
I love the Daisy Pond technique. I have a lot of stress in my life right now. I had been taking care of my Dad for the past year he had been pretty sick. We found out he had cancer that had just started in Febuary. I talked him into doing the chemo and radiation. He finished his treatment at the end of May. He was doing fantastic. Then in July he got some blood clots in both legs and his stomache started to bleed. He died July 16th, not from the cancer but from comlpications of his treatments. I feel really bad for talking him into doing those treatments. He could have lived another 5 years at least without it. He was only 68. He was the most awesome fun loving dad anybody could ever have. I am so fortunate for having him as my dad. All our friends and their kids called him dad and grandpa. I miss him so much and I hurt so bad not having him here with me. Now I am trying to take care of my mom like I promised him I would. I would love to buy the rest of your program, but at this time I am not able. My parents did not have insurance and I need to pay for his funeral and tombstone, which is going to take me sometime. I just wanted to tell you your first lesson has helped me to releive some of my stress and I look forward to the rest of the free lessons you offered.

I received the first lesson, but I found it so long and involved. I don’t have the time to read and study all of that. Furthermore, someone was here to demonstrate Reike. From the information distributed to us, I very much wanted to see the demonstration but had to attend a very important meeting as my committee of which I am the Chairperson, was presenting a request for funds for our project. Since then, I have talked with others who attended the demonstration. They have confirmed what I thought the program was all about and it seems to be entirely different from what is presented in the lesson I received. I certainly would not have the time to read everything if the seven lessons are all like the first.

Your system gives some trouble to download the lessons and besides that to go to the next lesson you have to put more e-mail addresses. Maybe is better to charge something and not asking for addresses in which you find a potential to get more clients, I know there’s no free lunch but I’m not pretty sure this is the best method to reach other people, we are putting in a –maybe– uncomfortable situation our friends.

This has brought so much peace to my mind and i find myself so excited to receive the other lessons. I know that you will send it when the time is right. I speak often of your teachings and the fact that you studied with Yogananda. I have had a desire to learn Kriya Yoga and i feel this is the closest that I will come is with your help. I have read most of Yogananda’s writings and I am longing to establish a habit of communing with my Creator. Any words that you speak I am willing to weigh with the scales of truth and they always come through with a resonance and clarity. Thank you for the blessings.

Dear Burt.
Thank you for the work you are doing to help everyboddy.
Yes,- I have taken my first “jump” and read the most of your mails and to day I has listen to The Daisy Pond.
I think it’s a realy excellent and nice form of meditation.
My real first lesson was to aloude my self to take a brake where a have to sit still and listen and the next
step for me was to koncentreat of understanding.
It was more easy then I’ve thoght.
I will continue and I think the next time I’m listen it will be more easy for me to relax.
Hope you can understand my “not perfect” englisch.
Thank you.
Whith love
Birte.

Hello Burt,

I appreciate the fact that you are doing your best to spread this wonderful technique to your followers, but I am on this journey on my own and don’t have friends who are into this type of proactive human evolution.

I like the Daisy Chain meditation but I can’t move forward with #2 or #3 because of the qualifications you have put forth with your karma system.

I wish you the best but if I have to earn the next steps by providing you with more contacts then I no longer wish to receive emails regarding this subject matter.

In love and light,

Jimmy

Beth says

Hi Burt, Thank you!! I had an awesome experience after listening to “The Daisy Pond”. I love the concept & have taken the liberty of “personalizing” my visualtion just a little. To me it’s a “Lily Pond” etc.
Anyway, the night after listening to the audio I decided to “visit the Pond” as the day had been a little hectic. I was in bed and as I stood at the “top of the stairs” I felt a chest pain (angina)begin. My instant reaction was to “get to the water — calmly but quickly” which I did. I slid into the pond and started “breathing” the healing water. I was aware of the pain in my chest, neck & arm, but completely unafraid. As I made myself comfortable at the bottom of the pond, I focused on simply filling myself with healing and gradually began to “exhale” the pain and eratic heart beat.
I’ve no idea for how long/short I continued, but the pain eased, then faded away completely. I drifted off into a peaceful sleep and awoke in the morning without any signs of the lethargy and weakness that I had previously experienced. In fact I completed all my normal housework quite comfortaby.
I guess I was already “committed to taking the jump”, but at the same time fully appreciate that your generosity in providing this material via internet has given me a glimpse into “Life — Enlightened”.
Again, thank you. Beth

Burt,
I just want to know about the additional free lessons. I have done the Daisy Pond and in fact have been familiar with it from previously. Can you tell me how I can move onto the remaining 6 free lessons? It’s appreciated. I’m a Silva Grad from the 80s and have some of your recordings from those days. I was hoping to reap the benefits of some of your more current experiences.

I’m a bit disappointed. I tried to earn Karma points by downloading 2 email addresses with contacts so that I could go past the Daisy Pond download and did not get any points. I tried contacting customer service with no avail. There are many sites that one can refer to on the topic of self-help, self-awareness, and attracting a better life. I do not want to participate in one that only wants my contacts and not deliver what was stated in the original message.

Awsome enough I found that I have used the Daisy Pond

mind clutter is very stressful. So stress was slowly
taking over. Thanks to you and your oportunity to experience the techneque once again. I have some hope
to gain control once more. I forgot all about creating
a safe happy place out a lone the time to use it. Now I will definately make time just for me. Thanks for the

Okay I loved the Daisy Pond meditation and had enough contacts to get the other two audios in the lesson but beyond that I don’t think it’s gonna happen. If this is intended to be helpful and free how come we have to refer 10 friends per lesson to get the remaining audios? It would be great if they were all availble. I have no problem referring friends but 70 FRIENDS (10 for each of the 7 lessons)?? Come on!!! What’s the deal???

I wonder if you’ll answer this.

I do appreciate all the free help I can get and will pass your name on to others in time.

I sort of half-listened to the Daisy Pond meditation last week and let it go but when I received the first lesson and listened to it again, the effect was … sublime is the only word I can use. Is it because I’m suffering so many setbacks right now and felt so devastated and afraid that I won’t be enough this morning … I don’t know. But I’ll say this … I felt the powdery snow when I fell into it — I LOVE the powder though I was born and bred in the Caribbean.

So Congratulations Mr American Monk on a fabulous meditation that. It completely eliminated my fear and anxiety for a little while, so I’ll keep listening.

I have herd about the beneifts of meditation for years but never really tried it until downloading the guides from Burt. Only did it the once and yes it did relax me…in fact I went to sleep but woke up just as he was taking me out of the meditation. Wodner if this is normal? I did feel fine and more relaxed after. I will try it for a period of time (after i finish this) and it may become part of my routine.

When and how does the next lesson come ?

I have been introduced to myself!! By that I mean, that there were talents, skills and emotions that were internal, but hidden about me from me,due to limited thinking. The meditation techniques have opened up several avenues that I once thought were impossible. Words cannot express my gratitude for my growth as a result of your program.

I was really excited to get my free lessons and learn more about your work. Then I realise they are not free, you have to pay by passing on names of other people, and alot of names, to access the techniques. I feel it is very sad that you operate in this way. I did consider buying your programmes, but wanted to hear more about your work first. As I don’t believe in sending others mail they have not requested, I will not have the opportunity to know more about your work. This blackmail?? doesn’t feel like an ethical way to operate to me? Does it really increase your data base in a meaningful way? I would appreciate your comments.

Hi! There Burt,
Yes I enjoyed the Daisy Pond, I am not new to meditation but found this to be very refreshing .
I am 75 years of age born during the Great Depression and just in time for the Second World War.
I shall continue with the rest of the free lessons and would like to purchase the program if I can find a way to pay for it without using a credit card, since I do not have one.

I believe there are pages where one can ask for the content in whatever language required, one clicks the appropriate flag and the page is translated, I do not know how it works but I know that it is available perhaps this could be an option after all the message is supposedly to be spread across the world it is a universal messsage.
Actually if it worries one, there is no need to fill in the details of friends and relatives on the page,it is just as easy to copy and paste the url into private emails and send them from your own e-mail address.

Hello,

I believe that the law of attraction is completely true . I enjoyed Lesson 1, although I was a little scared to hear that I wouldn’t be able to move my hand for a while during the meditation. I am aware that the power of our minds is amazing. I have had some issues in the past realizing what my mind is capable to do, it was kind of scary when negative thoughts ended causing bad things.

I would love to start Lesson 2.
Thanks!

The Daisy Pond,a beautiful soul dance, extremely captures the moment of peace.I’ve always had my own meditations i imajined as well, often flying, gliding, floating being in all of an part of freedom. Many times if i can’t get to sleep instead of counting sheep i imagin a hat floating down the river an lightness of itself without any worry. An in my few favourite dreams im swimming with big turtles an lightly gliding down waterfalls into another beautiful lake and another an so on,no edge insight. Is just me and calm seas, lakes, water animals,is the only other time i remember feeling so content and happy effortlessly. To me meditation is in a single moment of everywhere every infinate possibility, past future an present, near and far,in all of 1 single moment. In tune with everything. As you said stress similar to meditation.like stress you can gather every horrible part of life you can think fear and hate or imagin badly an in 1 moment carry it all at once,an feel heavy an ill from the load, every possibility of anguish. And to decorate that can add knowledge of all wonderful things that you dont have, how unfair life is,why me etc,and the beauty of life is then just a another heavy weight, hope, fantasy,a joke, the bitter cherry on the top..Or alongside stress is meditation, hand in hand.Meditation however carries the beauty and horror of life all its wisdom an energy, with the knowledge learnt from all the anguish, happy, and wouldn’t change a thing.content in undrstanding, free and light. Most walk a long journey in shoes of stress there whole life, never learning why or how2appreciate moments of confusion, pain, hurt, sadness, glaring at the happiness with an envy. Some ware 1shoe of stress, and other happiness.inbetween,or transition. The few ‘lucky’ones that have learnt to love every part of all they experience they walk on water or dance on air,and have no need to look around in envy, can be content with the point of life.Experiencing it.Being it.And loving all as 1 in itself.

Thankyou for sharing your imagination with so many people. We all appreciate it very much. Its nice to listen to someone elses meditation, and get the complete relaxation from it.

Keep up the incentive!!

Dear Burt,
I was so excited when I read that you are giving away 7 free lesson. Since my birthday is at the end of February I thought it was a great present. just what I needed and was ready to work with. It was just what I needed to recondition my life. Although I tried to share it with a number of my friends to build up my karma point, I was unable to do it.I spent hours on it, but after I entered the email addresses into the space provided and clicked on the sharing button they dissapeared.I never got further than the first lesson accept for the introductons After I received a link from John I was able to download “The Daisy Pond. I spent hours on the second lesson, but I had the same problem. I sent replies to some of the emails that I received to ask for help, but they came back undelivered. That is when I realised that it must be an auto respondent, that does not receive only send emails out. I woul love to take advantage of your excellent offer to puchase your program , but at this point I do not have the funds for it. I be more than happy to share the lessons with friends, (which seems to be the requirement) but I need some instruction for how to do it. I hope, that somebody from your team will read this note and let me know what address I can use to send an email to ask for help. Many thanks in advance.

Hi…First, let me tell you how much I enjoyed the Daisy Pond.….When I realized I needed to sned you five e-mail addresses to access The Bagha I was surprised and then very disappointed.…How I progress in my life and the methods I use to acquire the things I am wanting is not meant to be shared with others.….there are many aspects of one’s life that are sacred to them.…and very personal.…I wish everyone desired to seek out harmony and harmony in their lives, but that is not the case.…people get it when they get it.….I understand referrals are important, but I believe you may get more if there isn’t a price put on it.….this A.M. I woke excited to proceed to the next step and then got whammed…it isn’t free, is it? There is a price for everything…I’ve only one individual to share this with but that won’t allow me to proceed, will it Burt? People may be more inclined to offer you their friends e-mail addresses if it didn’t block their own progress via your methods.…. there must be a better way for all of us who truly want to continue.….what are five-ten e-mails worth…$5, $10, $15, #20.…let me know PLEASE.…so I may continue…Thank you.….I will now continue on the Daisy Pond…I do believe I need it…tlc

Hello Burt, I recently recieved your most welcome knowledge and listened to the Daisy Pond and I have to say, that where I am now spiritually, I cannot stop getting your emails and greatly appreciated information! I’ve been searching for many years, as a young person, and where I am now I know that I’m on the spiritual path that I should be, but for some reason I’m like a sponge and keep wanting and needing more and more and more knowledge, so yes, please keep YOUR knowledge coming, and again I have to say, it’s so GREATLY appreciated and giving me what I NEED! YOURS SINCERELY.

Janeeshla says

Thank u Burt! i am so grateful for ur wisdom and selfless giving! i have been alot into reading and intellectualism and wanted to take myslef to an experiential, creative and manifestational level. I loved hearing ur audios and everyhting felt Divinely guided to me. Its deep and the messages make perfect sense to my scientific, analytical, emotional and spirtual leve;s.

Ruth W. Duran says

Alexandria, Burt,

This is Ruth here and I have a question concerning the three lessons and the Karma points. The other day when I signed up to get the lessons, I filled in the area with at least 15–20 email names and addresses. When I check on the link I received tonight it says that I have zero (0) and I don’t understand why? I know that I invested my time copying the addresses out of my address book and pasted them into your message with your URL and even put Blessings, Ruth at the bottom. I did receive lesson 2 but have not received lesson 3 and feel that there must be some mistake in the process somewhere.

I appreciate your response concerning the above.

Blessings & to Enlightenment,
Ruth

Sherry says

Dear Burt,
To add to the message that I left this morning regarding my not being able to open/view your (“Burt’s”) Video Introduction to the first lesson(s); When I first opened the link providing the page I did see an image of you but did not have enough time, at that time, for it to open (upload/download)in order to view. Ironically, I too, was getting duplicate e-mails. It was then, while I still had the duplicates still in my mail box, that I was able to see your image in the square space where your introduction was to be viewed, but I noticed that after I deleted the double (the doppelganger so to say), and went back into the e-mail to view it, I was no longer receiving the image of you in the viewing box. Perhaps you have a link that you can send me so that I may be able to view the introduction?
Thank you,
Sherry C.

Sherry says

Dear Burt,
After clicking onto the link that John sent(shown below) to access my first of seven lessons, the square space where the video is suposed to be viewed is blank, & there is no place to: “Click to Watch Burt’s Video Introduction to this First Lesson and the Three Techniques He’ll be Revealing”; therfore, I am unable to view the video. Is there a way that you could send me that video, or another link to it?
Thank you,
Sherry

Sherry,

Thank you for signing up for free lessons from the American Monk!

It’s finally happened. Burt Goldman, the American Monk, after 18
months of work, has finally revealed his teachings online.

Burt Goldman intends to raise the consciousness of 1 million

where people are in tune with their inner-selves, living healthy
and creative lives and are no longer swayed by religious dogma or
politics.

I was so touched when I stumbled upon Burt’s teachings that I knew
I needed to do everything I could to help spread his amazing
message. That is why I helped him start this website.

Burt’s giving away $100 worth of training courses online.

hey thanks for the Daisy Pond! it’s such a cool and fun place, it makes me smile all the way– at least until it’s time to leave lol it really brightens my day.
unfortunately I won’t be passing this on to many friends, because most of them can’t understand English… I’d feel bad to share their addresses without asking for permission anyway

Eduardo says

Hi again,
I did not include the meditation that you sent. The Daisy Pond is very good and I am enjoying it very much, I got a course many years ago to get in contact with my unconscious and program things and it reminds me of it but it is much better and much more effective. I have not gone into the other two as I want to get the most of the Daisy Pond before, I sent many emails and got enough Karma points the get the other two, although I don’t think many of the people I recommended will go to The American Monk, although to my surprise some said they will. Thank you again.

Eduardo says

Hi Burt,
I have studied lesson 1 and find very valuable de steps for energy, posture and in general the attitude to attract wealth. I could use this wealth, as my financial situation is tight, but that was not the reason I got in your free course. I need to get to be a much better being so I can help as many people as I possible can, as I am a healer. I have improved much since I started in this direction in 1998 but I still have a long ways to go. Two months ago I started Silva and I meditate two times a day and I don’t fill my body when I am in alpha, so much so that I have to forcefully decide to come out of such a delicious state, otherwise I would stay there. I am beginning to be able to visualize, which I could not do before. I don’t see how can I go into Quantum and I don’t understand it yet but then I have only gotten lesson 1 so I hope the other lessons will teach me. Thank you for what I have learned so far.

Loretta says

Hi Burt thank you for you wonderfull material, It is very frustrating for me not to be able to continue, I live in Mexico, and have no English speaking friends, I cant recomend anyone. I canot afford the other programs either so this was a wonderfull oportunity to learn from you thank you anyway.

Iris says

Thank you for your interest in my wellbeing. I have listened to the Daisy Pond a few times now and enjoy it even though I have been practising meditation for many years I always enjoy something new. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to progress further, much as I would truly love to, because on the one hand I don’t have enough email friends who would be interested in your offer, and for another I feel it is morally wrong to pass on email addresses in this way anyway. So I can’t win either way. But thanks anyway. By the way I always receive two emails from you for some reason. Maybe you need to adjust your program. Many thanks.

cathy hall says

Burt, I feel that I have been ” lucky ” since listening to your first lesson. I know you can make your own luck, but this is quite a co incidence. I’ve been unemployed 2 times in the last year, and have received 4 calls since listening to your lesson. I just wish I could go to a ” higher ” level soon!
Thanks, Cathy Hall

Petra Vanesa says

Dear Burt,

I appreciate it your interest, I find the tapes very uplifting and they really helped me to relax. I’m very new to meditation and I was really following information about the “laws of attraction” and that took me to your website.…

I’m one of those people that have let my thoughts and frustrations run through my mind freely and I’m trying to think more positively and see if that brings more of what I have been working so hard to get. My goal is really to find a permanent good job and I have been struggling to do so, but I’m hoping the changes that I’m starting will open new doors for me.

I appreciate any advice coming from you and looking forward to the remaining lessons.

Best Regards,

Petra Vanesa.

Gwyneth says

Hello Burt,

Yes I now have the 6th Lesson and eagerly await the 7th
(I thought I had it but it turned out to be the figure 1 I had read as figure 7 !!) a duplicated offer I think!
and yes, I have been in touch with my Doppleganger, had a delightful meeting — I will let you know as soon as I get the results.

Thank you for sharing your incredible experiences and knowledge — so much ties in with my earlier studies but now I feel really ‘enlightened’ by studying your lessons.

Warmest regards,

Gwyneth

It’s such a shame to see a man with such wealth of knowledge be consumed with the illusion of marketing. I would have thought your enlightenment would have brought you the true God given gifts of divine wisdom where you wouldn’t need to use these marketing techniques to get his word out.

I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR COURSE TO THIS POINT. LESSON 1 COVERS THE BASICS. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO FUTURE LESSONS. I AM OBSCESSED, YOU MIGHT SAY WITH ENLIGHTENMENT AND BEING ALL I CAN BE. I THINK YOUR COURSE WILL LEAD ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. J.D.

I’m a little concerned that I have to provide my friends’ contact information to access the 2nd and 3rd lessons that your site seemed to promise. I value that information more than my money in some ways, so to call the first 3 lessons free seems disingenuous. To call my willingness to provide this data my “karma level” seems downright alarming.

Most of my online friends do not share my metaphysical inclinations, and I do not yet feel sufficiently familiar with your material to recommend it so casually.

Pat says

I have meditated before but I was so amazed by the way you approached it with the Daisy Pond that I had to refer it to several of my friends. The ease at which it takes you through the steps in the first lesson is almost instant relaxation and the beauty of the pond I saw in my mind was just so relaxing and calming. I am glad I went to your site because this one has been the best.

Hello Mr Goldman.….I havent been able to get your lessons because I have zero Karma points. No one I know is interested in this and do not want to get envoled. I am 81 years old with a back back. I have tried all medical procedures without success. I have tried meditation for about 3 years. I am not very good at it but I have learned to control my emotions alot better and find temporary back relief. Only way I can relax to meditate is lay on my back. I would like to order your CDs dealing with health and healing and learn to meditate without having my mind wonder or falling asleep. I would like to order the daisy pond I hear you talk so much about. Can you help me?

I did the first lesson and felt my body relax quite abit but my breathing became very fast. Especially when I had to leave the daisy and go into the water. When I was done and had to leave the daisy pond, I felt tears in my eyes. Even though I do feel abit more relaxed, I am sad that I had to come back to reality. Is that normal? I guess maybe for me,considering all that has happened in the last few years especially this past week. I will retry the daisy pond until I no longer have tears. karen

Burt’s voice is golden. The techniques in lessons 1 — 3 are standard, in relaxn or mind power courses, but boy, Burt’s voice & clarity sure makes me relax. And the Bagha technique of touching the tongue to the palate-roof of the mouth– I keep it up all the time. Is there a bio feedback m/c that can reveal the energy difference withthe tongue to the palate !

Hello,
I sent in the required 5 email addresses of friends but how do I get the next CD download free? Maybe I don’t know where to look for it. I thought i would be notified by email and sent the link, but i didn’t get anything like that.
There are so many CDs for sale. How would anyone have the time to listen to so many?

thank you for any help,

The Daisy Pond meditation was wonderful. I have not only downloaded it, but also gave it to a friend. The method of count down by going down the stairs was very relaxing. And the deep voice helps in going to a deep meditative level very quickly.

Better and better.

I have read through lesson 1, i have heard most of it before… but the Daisy Pond meditation is “exceptional”. It is unlike the other guided meditations which want you to be in a certain prescribed position, breathing a certain prescribed way, blah blah… the way Burt takes off with an energetic inspiring voice, and the ‘challenge’ to “test” my imagination is just so engaging. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will keep listening at least 2ice a day for a month. Just one thing, why should my subsequent “free” lessons depend on my karma points? I thought free meant just that… besides am surrounded by pple who are head-burried in organised religion so asking me to refer them to the website is a waste of time… Burt, can I advance just for me, because i selfishly what a transformed life so much that when my friends wonder how am changing my life, then i will refer them. Anyway, thank you so much so far. If i dont accumulate the karma points, i will stick with the Daisy Pond for as long as possible. Am sure my higher self will attract the next step from here, when the right time for that step arrives. God bless you and many thanks once more.…

Marie says

I very much enjoyed the ‘Daisy Pond”. It was very relaxing and it was the first time that I could actually visualize and project. However, I am disappointed that the only way to get the other lessons is to increase my ‘Karma’ by recommending this site to other people. My interest in this website is personal and I don’t think I should be pressured to involve other people. I may or may not recommend it to a friend, but that should be my choice and not a condition to receive the other lessons that were advertised as ‘free’.

Emily Donelan says

I have just ordered the Siva Mind material and they sent me your
teleseminar. I was impressed, since I studied the Yoganada kryia
method as well. Loved the Bagha and the Daisy Pond. and the Clear mind
for that matter. I have also, as you say stimulated my own guidance
system into full gear, I am listening to it since I can identify the
subtlety of its voice, the clarity. I recognized that I HAVE
RE-MEMBERED TO ASK FOR GUIDANCE–I am 61 and have meditated for 35
years. These techniques I also saw before, as I had 2 of Silva books.
But I did not recognize that I am more claircognzsent and audient and
kinesthetic and I need to do things differently than the standard
visualization. So the Daisy Pond really kicked into full gear my
ability to ‘go to the pond’, since I finally have a clear mind, after
all the other practice I have been doing.

I also met a man,Benjamin Creme, from Share-Inernational.org who uses
a technique given by the Christ, called Transmission Meditation. Here
you say an Invocation, called the Great Invocation, and focus on the
ajna center. When you wander you say OM. So when you do this you
’receive the energies of the Masters’ into your chakras. This has also
been potent. This is 2 years of this. So, I will likely work with my
bundle from Silva for a bit, and really focus.

I know that single minded focus and intent is the way. Just Do It.
congratulations to you for your own magnificent good work!

Hello,

Lesson 1 was great! I tried to send it to my mother, via the procedure established on your site (rather than just sending her my link), and it failed. She got four lines of informational text (who it came from, date it was sent, etc.) without any links. Eventually, I did a “cut and paste” of my link and sent it to her. That worked. This is meant for the webmaster so the site can be corrected, more than as a testimonial… but to be honest, I am very impressed with what I’ve seen so far.

Hi Burt. I haven’t completed lesson one. I have been a little slow at starting. I’ll get there. I have been a little busy with other things. Not sure why I hesitate. I look at it every day. Guess I am like someone trying to take my first jump on a high rope swing. I just know I will be exhilarated.

I have completed lesson one and read it several times over the past few days. I have also used all three downloads 2 to 3 times daily since receiving them earlier in the week. All I know how to say is, “unbelievable” I wasn’t really sure what to expect but I wish everyone could experience the complete inner peace I experienced immediately following the session. I can certainly understand why it would be benefical ( especially now with the economic situation being what it is) for as many people to have the opportunity to share in this. For my part I have told everyone I know how wonderful I think it is of you to share such a gift with us, and for free! I have also emailed your site to everyone in my address book. From my heart to yours, Thank you for caring and sharing. Lorraine

THE MOST INCREDILBE EXPERIENCE EVER” i’ve never been more influenced in my life, the first lesson i recieved couldn’t have been any better it relinquished all of my stress and worries like they never happened. I’m ready for the next lesson…

I loved the voice in Daisy pond. Pls send me the next lesson. I’m willing to do on with my trip.

Trevanne says

Hi Alexandra!

I just opened your email, & wanted to let you know that I have started the first lesson…INCREDIBLE! I was so happy when The American Monk instructed me to “pretend” that I can’t lift my hands, then to try and lift them…I tried, but couldn’t!!! Wow…I was excited by that alone, not to mention when I was close to opening the door leading to the “Daisy Pond”! I actually became a little saddened when it was time to walk back through the hallway…and go back up the stairs. I thought to myself “But.…but.…but I’m not ready to leave”! hehehe. The great thing is, the more I meditate with the help of the Daisy Pond, I’ll be able to go there (to my place of happiness…heightened imagination) WHENEVER I PLEASE!!! :-)

Dennis says

o yeah, and please send me more lessons. I really want to continue.

Dennis says

I’m likein this, but i still don’t feel fully relaxed. It only supresses it for a little while but i still have over thinking problems. But i’ll keep trying!

I want to waste no more time now that I know what has hindered me all of my life. Chaos has been the story of my life. The story has changed for the first time and things are changing. Thank you. Thank the God of the Universe and all who are contributing to this much-needed information. Thanks again! God Bless You ALL!

Hello dear one, thank you, thank you, thank you your meditation is something wonderful.i am so interested ‚please send me more lesson. God bless you

Rick Blanda says

I’ve been a meditator for years practicing various methods from Transcendental Meditation, Hong Sau and Kriya Yoga but my all time favorite has been the Daisy Pond guided meditation. I find this guided meditation, with repeated practice, brings me greater longer lasting peace of mind than the other meditations mentioned up above. So the question arises, “Would I recommend this guided meditation to others?”. You bet I would. It is an indispensable meditation for those eager to find peace of mind in a world filled with so much turmoil.
